Borders of Blood Smoke Jensen has come to Corpus Christi, Texas, to take delivery of 500 horses he purchased from an old friend. That's when a Mexican revolutionary, Colonel Bustamante Keno, brazenly crashes the border, slaughters 22 innocent U.S. citizens in cold blood, and steals a thousand head of cattle - along with two hundred of Smoke's horses. Going where the U.S. Army and the Texas Rangers cannot, Smoke crosses the border in hot pursuit of Keno. The Mexican Federales capture Smoke and the others and place them under arrest. But as soon as the banditos take something near and dear to a Federale commander, the Mexicans decide that Smoke and his fellow prisoners might come in handy after all. They'll fight a fierce and secret little war the only way the Mountain Man knows how: fierce, relentless, and unforgiving to the bitter, bloody end. Because no man steals from Smoke Jensen and lives to enjoy the ill-gotten goods. Not ever.

Good story

Nice continuation of the Smoke Jensen stories. However after listening to several books the story line starts to be predictable. Jack Garrett is a wonderful narrator. He brings Smoke Jensen to life.

A Good Listen

Audio performance kept me engaged throughout. Plot is ok. Just a nice fantasy western to relax and enjoy.

Always entertaining

Really enjoyable, like all the William Johnstone books it was very good. we enjoyed the parts with old Mose in them.

well read, story was very very good. johnstone is the besst i love his work. from peeacher to smoke to bloodbond series all of them read and loved:-):-)

Smoke

This is another good book about Smoke. They go in a battle against an army of bad guys. This book is full of action and adventure. It also has Pearly and Cal in it which always adds very much to a book. This is a must if you are a fan of the Jensen's.
