A little to long, and to much unecessary details.

The reader was awsome! I loved the way she talked like a man, and then like a women. But i would have liked it better with a little more music that fits the theme.

Sweet but dull

It is romantic and at times thought provoking. Easy listening.

The narrator has a sweet yet monotone voice which didn't help warm me to the very basic lead character. Male voices performed in the story are quite cringe and took me out of it.

Not much happens in the story and unfortunately I am not compelled to read the next books.

I would recommend this to young readers. Perhaps 8-11 years old.

Amazing!

This is one of my favourite books but this is my first time listening on audio. The narrator really does it justice and I was hooked even though I already know the story.

The story is so emotional and involving, and the characters are so believable. I love it.

OK story but lacking emotion

Easy listening but I found I did not feel any connection to the characters. Not sure if that was the story or the performance but something was lacking. The random bits of background music here and there were odd and felt quite cheesey.

Thrillingly lovely. I hope for book two.

I loved this book. I look forward to book two. No red tablets for me. Go write.
Thank you Ally.

Not in love with the narration

Whilst I adore this story and its premise the narration often makes me cringe. The heroine sounds like a Disney Princess and Ky and Cassia's father sound monotone in moments that should contain emotion. I suppose this is to create greater variety in the voices but it doesn't work. Also they added music in some emotional parts that just made it so cheesy removing the sincerity present in the book. Overall i think this is better to read than to listen to. If you do choose to listen to it though, try to listen past the narration to the sentiment of the book.

so so

I would have liked this book if I was 14. It is not young adult.
