Publisher's Summary

Book 1 and 2 in a series set at the fictional Westmound Center for Competitive Shooting Sports in rural Wyoming. The series includes competitive archery, a Great Dane named Moo and lots of murder.

Death on the Range

When a competitive archer is murdered at the training facility where Di has just started working, she's thrust into the middle of an unofficial investigation before she can even settle into her new life.

With her roommate Mary and a Great Dane named Moo, she begins to unravel the mystery around the death of the victim, but can they solve the case before they find themselves in the killer's sights?

Death at the Summit

When a new Westwood employee with old grudges is murdered during the brand summit, Di starts investigating with roommate Mary and Great Dane Moo at her side.

After a snowstorm strands all the suspects at the Westmound Center and the only cop present asks Di and Mary not to get in the way, they have to keep a low profile.

It’s no surprise that Mac was murdered. He was a sexist bigot who used his business to take advantage of others prior to being bought out by Westmound. With so many suspects, will they be able to find the real killer?

A humorous cozy mystery for every sleuth in the family.

Books 1 and 2

These are a fun mystery. easy to listen to. The big cast of characters kept me guessing.

Could have been good.

I'm really sorry, but the narration reminded me of listening to students reading out loud in class. She tried, but it was hard to get into.
I did like the story line. Honestly, I picked these books over others because of the great dane, and as the servant of 2 danes, she captured the personality of the big, lovable goofballs perfectly.
Overall, it was a fun read, but I fell asleep through the audiobook and picked back up on my kindle where I enjoyed it more.

Reminder to self: Play sample before buying!

Thought I'd bagged myself a bargain, two books for the price of one. But instead I find I've wasted money. I thought this would be great, read by the author so inflections and emphasis would be in the right place. Instead I didn't even get to chapter 3 as the narrator's voice was so monotonous and just not pleasing to the ear. I'm sorry for the negative review but I would not recommend this as one to listen to.
