Good Story

I would actually rate 3.5 stars. This was a good story. I feel my review isn’t really fair since I’ve read some outstanding books this year. I liked the story, kept me entertained but I thought it was a little predictable.

Good "psycho" thriller

Really good book about a psycho person and his victims. Narrator has a great voice, but could've been more animated given the subject. Overall, highly recommend

Omg this man is so weak and stupid I keep rolling my eyes at him the story was good. The grandma as more balls than this man

good story but pretty sure the reader was a robot. no inflection in his voice.

Bad narration

I struggled to not DNF this because of the voice of the narrator. Good story line though!

Boring

I did not like the story. Most of all the narrator was so monotone & unfeeling it made the whole book boring. Sorry I did not enjoy this book at all.

Can you hate someone so much? Yes!

This was such a fun book to read! Well, now that I’ve finished! Oh my how I hated that man!

I always wondered it it was possible to hate someone so much! I felt in a cage shouting at people don’t go there! Don’t do that! It was wild!

Modglin’s novels always get me thinking, and this one is no exception. So here it goes: what is wrong with us that we can’t let go? What’s with the need to punish? But above all: For how long and up to what extents are we willing to go to get justice?

I loved the concept and I found close to that couple, struggling, having second thoughts and mostly trying their best for the love they once had.

Didn’t like narration and overuse of profanity

Way too much profanity - unnecessary. Wouldn’t recommend because of that. The story line was pretty good.

always second guess

you really wrote this well and giving reminders as to how dangerous people can be .. I loved the unexpectedness with the slight hints of red flags
