I hate you, Fuller James.

I hate your floppy hair and your lopsided grin and those laughing blue eyes that always seem to be laughing at me.

I hate that you're the most popular guy in school and I'm still the girl who sneezed and spit out her retainer on someone at a middle school dance. It's just such a cliché.

I hate that I'm being forced to tutor you in English and keep it a secret from everyone. Because otherwise it might put our basketball team's chances at winning State in jeopardy, and even though I hate you, I love basketball.

I hate that it seems like you're keeping a secret from me...and that the more time we spend together, the less I feel like I'm on solid ground. Because I'm starting to realize there's so much more to you than meets the eye. Underneath it all, you're real.

But what I hate most is that I really don't hate you at all.

Feel-good romcom

I wanted to read something light to rest my brain. I'm glad I gave this a chance. The book made me smile and laugh ♥️ Recommended to anyone looking for something not too heavys

Cute High School Romance

The thing I enjoyed most was the chemistry between the two main characters. There is a mean girl but she isn’t all that mean and you don’t see or hear much from her. A light, fun listen.

Cute book

I thought the book was pretty cute. It’s your typical teenage love story but if you love them like I do, then you’ll love this book.

Wholesome, cute high school love

It’s exactly what you think it will be! A very wholesome, sweet love story between two teenagers. I enjoyed it. The narrators did a great job.

Great listen!

I never got bored. A very fun listen that kept me entertained on my long travels. Every time I had to put it down I couldn’t wait til I could listen again. Loved the narrators.

Cute

It was a cute HS story. The characters were likable and believable. Super sweet ending that would make John Hughes proud.

Cute BUT clone of other books

The story wasn't bad. It was a cute, clean YA book about the perils of HS. However, every moment, every chapter I kept thinking "I'm sure I've read this story before", It felt so eerily similar to another YA book. hmmmm so zero stars for originality but it had some sweet dialog and HFN ending.

CLICHE BUT GREAT

This was a pretty good book! Exactly what I wanted! It had a sweet storyline and I enjoyed it a lot! It was SUPER cliche, but I still liked it!

A beautiful flipped romance

This was a great romantic story about a couple of students forced to spend time with each other. The guy needed help with his classes so he could play ball and the coach and principal wanted the girl to tutor him.  The problem is, he had done some things in the past to hurt her. She hated him.

It’s a very satisfying romance story. Some of the content was too politically correct though. It seemed like the author included some things to appease somebody.
