Publisher's Summary

A fake relationship with the guy I hate more than anything. Kill me now.

Shallow pretty boy, conceited fuckboy, immature assclown. Take your pick, they all apply to Brewer. The world is his ass buffet, and we’re all on the menu.

I’ve never hated anyone like I hate Brewer. But when Rebel pairs us to do a scene together, I have to admit I’m looking forward to taking all my irritation out on his...well, you get the picture. When one scene turns into a whole fake relationship, I’m not sure we’re going to make it out of this without some bloodshed.

But then something weird happens. The more time we spend together, the more I see a different side of him...and dare to show a different side of me. What the hell is happening?

Tank is the second book in the sexy, emotional Ballsy Boys series. It can be listened to as a stand-alone, but it’s more fun listening the series in order. Expect plenty of laughs, a whole lotta steam, and all the feels as you get to know these Ballsy Boys.

enemies to lovers

First of all, the narrator was great with voices and expressions and brought this gem to life in so many ways and I appreciated that, I completely enjoyed this journey of discovery between Tank and Brewer. and I found myself falling for each guy. I love the comraderie of this group of men and see them as real people. Thanks. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Foreplay

I love this story because you saw the "hate" building in the previous stories so it was fun for Brewer and Tank get their story. I love the fact that you begin to touch on the fact that everyone has a their story behind what you see at Ballsy Boy's office.

Second book.

Sweet, hot and easy but also some serious trust issues that make the story trustworthy.

Love Kenneth’s way of voicing the guys!

Boring plot, steam and romance.

Eh, not sure if it is just me but the dynamics of this relationship just didn't feel as natural, fulfilling or interesting as in the first book.

It was a steamy read but nothing that felt as deep as the first book in the series. In short, yeah, i was kinda bored.

The writing though was really well done, just like the first book, it was detailed and well thought out. Just not my cup of tea. It was a enemy to friends to lovers type of relationship. As much as i love these types of books, it didn't work here, and not as believably. The Erotic moments might help distract from some of the romance plot.

Overall, I feel like this was very chicken soup, easily consumable, predictable, still satisfying but was nothing special. I fell asleep a few times listening, even during some of the Erotic moments, just didn't really do much for me.

I honestly found the over arcing conflict to be kinda silly. The entire book is a build up on the internal conflicts a masculine guy has with bottoming. That story line just felt like beating a dead horse because i was kinda getting tired of hearing about these poorly explained and unbelievable hang ups.

I think I'd still recommend this book in hopes that the next book in the series is better. Hopefully reading this book adds flavor to the next. I dunno. I'm up in the air if i want to continue on with the series now.

Love is the closest to hate

Loved this book and hated that it ended. I love Tank and Brewer and wanted their story to keep going. Tank and Brewer are my favorite couple of all the Ballsy Boys. I read the series and now am listening to it. Kenneth does an awesome job on the different voices for each character. He makes it feel like you are right there with them listening to the conversation. Loved this audio and Kenneth is one of the best narrators out there!

Love It!

One of my favorite series brought to life by one of my favorite narrators. Tank and Brewer are so sweet and sexy together. Kenneth Obi again is able to give big characters the perfect voice. I love that I never have trouble telling one character from another including characters from past books.

The totally lovable grizzly bear and his flirt!!!

Holy hotness this book is explosive! From fierce chemistry, with tension and 'hate' to tender moments with care and love, Tank is another amazing story from the Ballsy Boys series! I love gruff Tank, with his secretly caring, driven and smart side of Peter and flirtatious f%#@boy Brewer and his deep, smart, healing and strive to become a doctor, side of Micah!

I loved that there are so so many layers to all these characters and unravelling Tank and Brewer was a sight to behold! A super passionate enemies to friends to lovers story with so much heart and some epic heat and chemistry! I loved it ❤🔥😍

Enemies to lovers done right

Tank is book 2 in the Ballsy Boys series by K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix. I’m a fan of the enemies to lovers troupe without a doubt, but sometimes it is rushed and you don’t get the growth where the characters truly grow to love eachother. Tank is the perfect exception to this, because you get the growing tension, the mutual understanding, and ultimately, the timeless love. The characters are well-rounded and have depth (Who would have thought porn stars could be nerds?), and I loved hearing their story come to life. The narration by Kenneth Obi is outstanding and I will definitely listen again soon.

Ballsy Fun

I love the Ballsy Boys and having read the books, (which I adored) I am waiting, impatiently, to see what Kenneth Obi does with the characters in the audio books. I was not disappointed with Brewer and Tank. He portrayed them perfectly and made me fall in love with them both again.

Love Tank and Brewer

Another fantastic listen in the Ballsy Boys series. These two fabulous authors did it again, as did my favourite narrator.

Tank and Brewer are as different as night and day and they both know how to get on the others last nerve. When they do a shoot together it starts a slippery slope right down to changing their perceptions of the other, and Brewer looks behind Tank’s grizzly bear exterior while Tank looks behind the joker that Brewer projects to the world.

Tank and Brewer are great together, and I love the slow way they come to realise the reality of each other. Their distinct characters are well narrated by Kenneth Obi’s fantastic voice. An amazing listen.

Loved it!

I loved this enemies to lovers story. Tank and Brewer are asked to do a scene together and it gets very popular because their chemistry is of the charts from the get go. The boys take you on a journey discovering that there is more to the other then they always thought.
Very well narrated, the story sucked me in and I couldn't stop listening :)

Great audiobook

I love love love Brewer and Tank, I think they are my favourite in this series (after Pixie). This is a great enemies to lovers tale. It feels very organic the way the story progresses. Kenneth Obi does a great of narrating it and I love both voices he had for the boys. Overall it's a great audiobook

From enemies to lovers

This series is awesome and I couldn't wait for Tank and Brewer come live on Audible. It is a joy to listen Kenneth Obi fall in character with these two. Tank the gruffly one and Brewer the joker and flirty one. Pushed together for a contract to do 10 scenes together and start a fake relationship to attract even more viewers they come to know each other on a different level and they like what they see. But will they have the courage to admit their true feelings for each other? The trio of Nora, Kyleen and Kenneth make it a wonderful story and show that first impressions not always give the right vibe of a person and that a bit of work and pushes are needed to see the real person. And then when you do it can change your life forever.

My favourite in this series, perfectly narrated

Tank is my favourite Ballsy Boys book, I've read it multiple times, and to hear it narrated so perfectly by Kenneth Obi is a delight. He absolutely nails Tank's deep grumble (a la Patrick Warburton) and Brewer's party boy with a secret lack of confidence is superb.
