Narrated by best-selling rom-com duo Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton!

Dean is certain that fake dating the cute owner of his new bakery investment could be messy...but messy can be fun.

Norah Donahue wants bakeries, not babies, but her matchmaking mother won't stop trying to play Cupid.

Dean Moser is a cocky stock market savant whose friends are all settling down, leaving Boulder's infamous ladies' man all alone.

When Norah needs a fake date for her parents' anniversary party, her new silent investor is the perfect guy for the job. It seems like a foolproof plan....

That is until Norah decides to break her biggest rule and lock lips with Dean in the middle of the party to spite her meddling mother.

Turns out that Dean and Norah's chemistry is sizzling hot, and mixing business with pleasure could turn out to be a recipe for disaster.

Or maybe they can have their cake and eat it, too.

Cheeky but loved it. Teddy outdoes himself again. This standalone was an all-day read/listen. So glad I did.

Oh I just love Dane. Man, he needed to pull his head out of the hole. This story was fun, easy listen during an ice storm. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars was because I felt like it moved a little quick to them sleeping together. Maybe some more of him breaking down her walls of structure. Overall, loved the book and of course Erin and Teddy did amazing!

Dean & Norah!!!! So..stinking..adorable!
These two just have this adorable connection where he comes to her bakery every day, flirts, & she turns red. I love it! Only problem is, she thinks he’s a play basically & he thinks she’s the marrying kind. But he refrains, because all he wants is a fling…he has emotional baggage about relationships, and it breaks my heart that he feels unworthy of love.
Fake date turned to fake boyfriend turned to such epic chemistry, love was inevitable.
The break hurt, but that grand gesture!! WOW

Can’t say it enough, Teddy and Erin…excellent!

So..stinking..adorable!

Take A Number is Amy Daws' newest laugh out loud, sexy, sweet and addicting fake romance! It can be read as a standalone, but if you've read Next In Line and One Moment Please you have met Dean. Scruffy, glasses wearing, sharp dressing, smart and funny, Dean. Seriously, this man! Only Dean could say inappropriate things and still be endearing. I knew his story was going to be freaking gold and I was right. This might be Amy's sexiest, funniest book so far and that's saying something! Dean invested in Norah's bakery. He goes in there for her famous croinuts and even works from there. It has nothing to do with his attraction to her. At all. He can't help staring at her and flirting with her and saying inappropriate things. It's just who he is. He's smooth, put together and laid back. Norah has been working pretty much her entire life to fulfill her dream of owning a bakery. And now she's about to own two and eventually franchise. She never really had time to date or have fun. Her mother is pressuring her to give her grandbabies but Norah just wants to bake and work. Not have a relationship. But she needs a fake date to her parents' anniversary party and Dean is just the guy. Turns out he needs a favor in return, a date to Kate's wedding. It's the perfect solution. Fake date for a few weeks. Norah even has rules and a list. Dean loves how uptight she is, but he wants her to loosen up and have some fun. Fun makes her nervous and sweaty and she can't believe how calm Dean always is! It's really annoying. Dean invites Norah to the joint bachelor/bachelorette party out of town. Together for the weekend. One bed. What can go wrong? Norah realizes rules were meant to be broken and Dean doesn’t stand a chance at resisting her. Fake sexing for the win! They can do this, they are friends and business partners (kind of) and adults. But what happens when Norah wants more and Dean doesn't think he can give it to her? Will he let the only woman who's ever made him feel alive slip through his fingers? Oh. My. Lord. Dean! Seriously, good God that man is fine! I love everything about him from his glasses to his loud outfits to his sharp tongue. It was a pleasure to watch the player fall. And Norah is perfect for him! She isn't immune to his charms but she's not falling at his feet and swooning like all the other women. She's strong, independent, gorgeous and knows what she wants out of life. Together they are the perfect fit! Overall, I laughed the entire time, got butterflies, had to fan myself and cried! The perfect romance!

Audio: Teddy and Erin are two of my favorite narrators and WOW! They are the perfect Dean and Norah! They seriously brought their A game to these characters. Teddy got Dean's humor and sexiness and Erin's voice was so perfect for Norah and her quirks! I laughed out loud and this is the best audio book in the series!

My favorite of the series!

Dean and Norah are delightfully brought to life by narrators Teddy and Erin! The humor and emotion in the story really come through and it’s always fun to spend time with the Boulder-based Wait with Me crew.

Whether you’ve read previous installments or if you’re fans of the narrators, this story is just enjoyable from the opening seconds to the final moments.

I’ve been looking forward to this book coming to audio. It didn’t disappoint! I loved Nora and Dean’s story. How he came across, is not really how he actually was. He was good for Nora and helped her relax and she was good for him and taught him to actually open his heart and not want to be the playboy he once was. This book was hilarious and gave you all the feels at the same time! 💕

Amy Daws knows how to write rom com!!

I do have a feeling who's next. Max? Rachel? Or maybe the new girl in France. Either way don't stop writing this series. I need more! You know I live vicariously through you! Heck I'm 56 lol! Anyhow, I love family! And you bring that in your books. My desire, is that you will unite the TIRE crew with the Harris crew. THAT WOULD BE SO COOL! Quite frankly I'm just letting you and Audible know how much I dig you. If you decided to publish this review and reviewers want to know... They should start out with Leslie going to London to meet Theo. They can figure it out like I did. Buuut... Audible.. you could put them in a series so it's easier for readers to know this. You know, like book one, two, three... then book 3a, 3b, however you want to do it. But if not, it's cool, because there are a lot of intuitive readers like me that need happy endings. Carry on..

Amy! I adore you!
