Long journey

This was a long journey. It was time to wrap it up because the man character was becoming predictable. The series was amazing with the best parts in the middle books. The narrator was very good and the supporting characters were essential to telling the overall story.

I really enjoyed the rich characters and raw, unmitigated not give a shit attitude to the MC who is bound and determined to make it to the end of the story, even if the price for doing so is the ultimate one. Well done, sad to see it end.

The last book was long winded in places, and the end predictable, but still a decent end to what I found to be a great series.

Sad but great full

Sad that the story has ended but great full for the amazing work Tao Wong has given. Finally an end to the unending quest and still left open for any future spin offs or continuation. This has truly been one of may favorite series and can’t wait to see what else the author creates

I am a little sad to be at the end of such a great series. I can only hope Tao Wong decides to write another series.

It was a finale

It was time to end the series. I wish there was further character development of supporting characters along the series, but alas no. The MC was becoming predictable. I liked the concept and theme, but wished it was revealed earlier and explored more. Performance was as expected by Podehl, fantastic!

All the feels

I re-listened to the whole series in preparation for the finale and I am extremely conflicted. I can't say that I am happy with the ending, but that does not mean it was an inappropriate ending.

All of the main characters are so muti dimensional that the ending makes sense story wise, I just wish there was more to it, it kinda felt sudden and rushed towards the end, but even that makes some sense given the characters.

All in all, I just was not ready to end this series, the fact that I am so invested displays the great job done on this series.
