Publisher's summary

The right direction is where the foes are.

Good advice in general, but even better when foes are a valuable resource.

Sylver had faced and defeated goblins, large rats, giants, wolves, bandits, demon worshipers, apes, weird lizards, fish people, and even fellow undead.

He also managed to rid his city of a [Hero] without destroying half the city in the process.

And now he was going was to face a rebellion, an uppity investigator, a foreign sun, and weapons he hoped he would never have to see, let alone fight against.

Book three of this Fantasy LitRPG Series about a reincarnated necromancer growing in power and finding his way in a new world where the rules have changed vastly since he last "lived."

About the series:
With equal parts humor and dark sorcery action, expect loads of skill progression, deep worldbuilding, and unforgettable characters in this story which had nearly 10 million views on Royal Road. Now completely revised and re-edited for Kindle & Audible.

Good but getting a little tedious

Solid continuation, but power growth remains slow for the length and half this book feels like an over extended side-quest. Love the character and this has one of the best overarching worlds/mysteries I've read. Unfortunately the author tends to introduce more new questions than provide answers that push the plot forward. Book 3 was a huge step back in this regard. Spoilers........ Rather than gain anymore knowledge of the realm we've spent the last 2 books in, MC is sent to a new mysterious realm for half the book (plus the next one). We see little to none of the characters from the last one and I feel further away from understanding the overarching plot after finishing. Will definitely continue the series but the next will be my last of this trend continues.

Great Series so far

I would like to hear more of this tale. I am starting to really dislike the cliffhangers but it keeps me coming back for more.

Fun, twisted, and DARK!

Enjoy the story arc and the many ways the MC gets tumbled through obstacles like a boot in a washing machine. The dark humor is outstanding coupled with the awesome narration.

Loved it

I love the story progression of this series so much. It does right what so many other reincarnated stories fail at. The writer is continuously surprising me on how overpowered a necromancer can be with all the avenues of power most stories barely scratch the surface of. Even though I wouldn't be friends with the main character I'm engrossed with his view of the world and how he navigates it. Most stories don't treat old monsters like Sliver the proper way the author does. Sliver feels old and acts as one who have seen a lot things both good and tragic. He knows what he is and rarely feels any need to apologize for it. The humor is great and the interpersonal dynamics between friends or foes really works. The fights are really good and I enjoy Slivers use of both close and long range tactics. The writer isn't afraid to let Sliver take some serious damage to show stakes. Also Slivers use of both magic and mundane warfare just makes sense. If you can make bombs then just blow your enemy up, if you can poison them then do so,if the enemy has a tendency to teleport everywhere then make anti teleport tools. I wish we could have gotten a little more insight into what the system is but that can wait for future books.
