AUDIO REVIEW:

The authors M.E.Carter & Andrea Johnson as well as narrators Deva Marie Gregory and Danny Montooth are new to me but be assured I am off to find more books as soon as I finish this review. I loved this story, it drew me in and captivated me from the first to the last chapter.

The characters were quirky and so easy to fall for, both individually and especially as a couple, I laughed so much listening to this book and found myself totally invested in this story.

The narrators did a great job bringing this highly entertaining story to life. Cannot wait to read and listen to more in this series.

The narrators were new to me, the authors were not. I read the book when it first came out and absolutely loved it! While listening I literally kept laughing out loud. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life!

Romance Muse

What is the saying? Never meet your hero? I’m glad it doesn’t apply to your muse. I’m a sucker for a main character that is clumsy and awkward. A bonus that Aggie is a romance writer!

A hero that loves the clumsy girl no matter what is so swoon worthy. Very little angst and some witty banter makes this such a sweet romantic story. And now on to the next in the series!

True & Real

This was a cute read. A clumsy, quirky, introverted heroine and her perfect muse. I liked how the hero character liked her for who she is and didn't need anything different or more. I found the story lagging in pace at times, and then felt the ending was a little rushed, but totally worth the read. I'm interested in reading on into the series now.

I thought both narrators did an excellent job.

Hilarious

This book was so entertaining and totally hilarious. I loved every minute of it. Both narrators were new to me and they both did fabulous. Highly recommended.

Just use the credit it’s worth it! Narration was done extremely well by Danny and Deva Marie. For my first audible in 2020 THIS Romantic comedy really hit the mark. I can’t wait for the 2nd one!!!!

What a fun book! I don’t know why but I love when I listen to a book about authors or narrators. This one had both! I love the characters and the narration was great! I definitely recommend this book. HEA I love Todd’s personality and I think the next book is about him. “Ear Candy”

🎧Audiobook Obsession

So much fun!

When a story revolves around a topic I understand and love, it makes the listen that much better. ME Carter and Andrea Johnston take us on the journey of the life of an author from all angles, and let follow her on her own sports romance story. Adeline Snow is a sports romance author with writers block. She is on a time crunch for her next release, but doesn’t have one word written. Now at a book signing, she meets Kate, a fan whose brother is Spenser Garrison, none other than the 5 time X Game gold medalist and muse for all of Addie’s books. Spenser is ready for retirement and work on his foundation, but his publicist isn’t ready to give him up. Putting these two together would be dynamite for both their career, but what isn’t expected is their real attraction. This story is so easy to fall in love with. Being a fan that has attended signings, I could easily relate to all the excitement of meeting both the author and the muse! I loved the points of view of both, and how we could easily see both transform for the public yet be different in their real world lives. Addie is so easy to understand. In her element, when dealing with her fans, she is confident and shines. Alone, she is a little insecure and trying to do her best. Spenser is the perfect book boyfriend. Very self-assured, he finds himself looking for more out of life and sees that possibility with Addie. This is a fantastic start to the series and I can’t wait for more!

There is an amazing narration team put together for this book. Deva Marie Gregory and Danny Montooth really brought the story to life. Their voices complement each other, and they both had great comedic timing and emotional pull. They are cast perfectly and made me fall in love with the book!

My favourite audiobook to date

Switch Stance is my favourite Audiobook to date. I absolutely loved this story. I spent a lot of times going to book signings last year so I found this book relatable and I couldn’t get enough of this story. Switch Stance has both a male and female narrator and the duo are the best I’ve heard to date. I can’t recommend this book anymore. In fact, it’s going in the favourite category which not many books make it into.

Agnes is a famous romance author. Her pen name Adeline Snow has a line of women who are in love with her books. Her muse for her swoon-worthy male leads is her biggest secret. One she doesn’t want to share.

Spencer Garrison is a famous skateboarder. His sister is desperate to have a companion for a book signing. She’s a huge fan of Adeline Snow.

When Agnes meets her muse. She is star struck but when her words on the page seem to have stopped following.

This story covers all angles of an authors life. It’s funny, entertaining and Spencer really is the perfect guy.

I won this audiobook series. This is my first book by this author duo and I can’t wait for more. I’m hooked.

A swoon-worthy romance about meeting the man of your dreams.
