Publisher's summary

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn't put my finger on what it was.

Same hair color.
Same legs.
Same face.

Except...I look harder.

At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn't there the last time we went out. And her laugh - that laugh isn't as loud.

This isn't the girl I've gone out with the past few weeks.
It's her twin sister, and they've switched places on me.

Only I'm not quite ready to let them switch back.

This novella was a sweet and cute twin swap story. Being a novella it didn't have a lot of meat but the hero was hot and lovable and the heroine was sweet and quirky. The story was predictable but still a fun listen.

The narration was great, I LOVE Erin Mallon and Jacob Morgan so I knew it would be perfect.

Great storyline!

I found this audiobook to be just a sweet and wistful college romance! The heroine gets convinced by her twin sister to stand in for her when she has two dates on the same night. After giving in to help out her sister, Amelia finds herself on a date with a gorgeous Latino baseball player and having to pretend to be her partying hard sister. Dante, the hero, instinctively feels something is different about her but shrugs it off. The second date, (where Amelia’s sister Lucy begs her to break up with him so she won’t have to) is a dream date, but at the end of the night Amelia tells him it’s not working out. When Dante figures out that there are two identical sisters, all bets are off! Narration was perfect.

Pretty good

Not bad for a little over 2 hours. I really like the Jock Row series, this book isn’t as good as the full link ones but not bad either.

The male narrator is more than tolerable but Erin Mallons voice just grates on my nerves. She’s way too breathy and her voice always seems shaky to me, like she’s on the verge of hysterics. All the time.

Other than that, it’s a pretty decent story.

Is there a second book? It just ended like a brick wall out of the blue. Good story abrupt ending. I like closure.. This book ended too quick.

Too short but oh so sweet!!!

I must admit that the reason I originally purchased this book was because of Jacob Morgan. I needed a Jacob Morgan fix and this was one of a few of his that I hadn't listened too. This said I was not disappointed. Especially when Jacob bust out the Spanish. Holy crap now I have way more ear porn than should be legal.

So because I wanted more of Jacob I would not have minded if the story had more everything. Although I believe the book has just the right amount of Lucy. I would have especially enjoyed an Amelia & Dante epilogue. They were a Homerun just as Erin & Jacob intended. A perfect book couple.

The length of the book left me wanting more. I will take a look at other books by Ney as this book was sweet.

HAWT AS HELL

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
YES. The story is rally great, the narrators are the best, I love how they did a really great job of pronouncing the Spanish in the book and Jacob Morgan's voice is alluring AF.

What did you like best about this story?
EVERYTHING.

Have you listened to any of Jacob Morgan and Erin Mallon ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't, but I definitely will from now on.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Totally laughed, there were funny and sweet moments.

Any additional comments?
I really recommend getting the audiobook (and the eBook), because having the narrator Jacob Morgan reading Dante's parts and reading the Spanish out loud? I blushed. Literally. I am sitting in my room with my wireless headphones and blushing like hell, because it feels like he was here with me saying those words to me. IT WAS HAWT AS HELL.

Dante and Amelia are really great together, the story and the way it unfolded had me laughing out loud. The dialogue is great as always and on point. While it is a novella, and short, I didn't notice at all, I was so engrossed in the story and loving every minute of it.

I can't wait for the Jock Row book, I'm even more excited after reading this novella! I can't wait to see Dante and Amelia again.

Highly recommend this book, even more so in audiobook form!

Short and Sweet

I absolutely love Sara Ney's Douche Bag series, so I was excited to find this little novella. Switch Hitter involves the referred to Barbi twins, Lucy and Amelia and a college baseball player, Dash. Now I am not going to say this is a Cane and Able type of story, but one of the twins (Lucy) is very self-absorbed and the other twin (Amelia) always cleans up Lucy's dating messes. So once again, Amelia is put into the situation to go on one of Lucy's dates because she doubled booked herself and really Lucy is just not into the college baseball catcher, Dash. So, Ameilia to the rescue, but what Dash, Amelia, and Lucy do not realize is that there would be an overwhelming connection between Dash and Amelia.

This story is short, sweet and has some interesting moments. My only issue with this book was is was so short. I wished it could have been written as a novel rather than a novella. With that being said, it was a great audio to fill a few hours for me. I love these narrators which made their story come to life. If you like Sara Ney's stories, then it is worth the purchase.
