Love hearing these characters come to life!

Susi Hawke’s Northern Pines Den series is one of my favorite mpreg series to date. These books have fun and entertaining characters and stories with an overall series arc that adds a dramatic feel to the love and humor. John Solo is the perfect narrator to bring these characters to life. He gives an entertaining and dynamic performance, successfully emphasizing nuances between different characters’ voices, accents, and personalities. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the series in audio too!

Fantastic Bundle!!

This is a fantastic bundle of the first 3 books in this series. I really enjoyed being able to go from one story to the next without interruption. In the 1st book we have Mikael and Taylor. I love Taylor, he's not your typical omega. He's outspoken, stands his ground and doesn't change his outlandish ways for anyone. I really like that Mikael accepts him just the way he is and doesn't try to change him. In this book the war begins thanks to Mikael's sister.
In book 2 we have a triad, Sean, Jules, and Colin. I really enjoyed the premise that all three are fated mates. Jules is a fiercely protective jaguar, Jules is a sweet and protective wolf, while Colin, an omega bear, balances them all out.
In book 3 we have Stefan and Diego. I was so glad that Stefan found his mate and Diego is just perfect for him. Diego is a strong willed omega who doesn't bow down to anyone but is loving and caring with his alpha.
The narrator was spectacular, the way he does all of the character voices with all of the different accents is magnificent. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great Matings - Great Danger

This bundle is the first three books in the Northern Pines Bundle. I listened to the audio version. I loved the narration and just the slight differences in tone to distinguish the different characters. This book features two strong couple and a unlikely triad. I love how the different characters fit each other so well. The drama is laid through the books and when these moments happen they are intense and harrowing. But the romance is also allowed to build and is not overshadowed by the happenings. I can't wait to listen the next set of story to see the end of the rein of terror on these wonderful shifters.

John did an awesome job with this group of books. He brought them to life in my head as I had to sit there and do my Homework. I can't wait to hear more by this narrator

The story continues

I love having all these guys together. It was really great getting to know them all and seeing how they meet their mates even if there is a psycho sister on the loose. Several of these guys we met before in the previous series The Northern lodge Pack and it was nice to see them again. I liked their mates and it was lots of fun seeing them interacting. There were lots of laughs and many tears as well. The strength and the passion that all of them show when given the threat to them and their mates is impressive. I can’t wait to see how they deal with this psycho and how they all come together to protect them what’s theirs. I thought that the narrator did an amazing job with all of the details and the characters in this series.

Another Trip up to Northern Pines

This is another trip up to Northern Pines, but this time its to visit the Bear Den (where a number of the mates from the Northern Pines Pack Series come from).
In book 1: Alpha's Hearts, colorful wolf shifter Taylor signs up as a volunteer in an exchange program to help shifters find their fated mates. Mikael knows that his new mate will breathe some new life into his pack. But at the same time Mikael and Taylor are adjusting to their new mating, a dangerous shifter shows back up determined to cause problems.
In book 2: Alpha's Mates, omega bear Colin gets kidnapped. Alpha jaguar Jules (former soldier) scents Colin where he has been hidden on the mountain. Alpha wolf Sean, after witnessing the kidnapping, he also scents Colin and is determined to help find him, and ends up also scenting his Alpha mate.
In book 3: Alpha's Strength, Jule's cousin, Diego flees an arranged marriage and ran right into into his fated mate, Stefan. As the rogue war rages on, Stefan and Diego have to deal with a mating, a pregnancy and fight alongside the rest of the Den.
The narration of the book was in general pretty good, however the beginning of Alpha's Mates when the narrator voiced Colin, he did so in a very childish manner and it made it very hard to envision this character mating with two alphas.
In general, this is a wonderful continuation of the Northern Pines Series and a great look into Den life.

I enjoyed the stories

This was interesting listen, I enjoyed the 3 book bundle. I haven't listened to the previous books set in Northern Pines world, but I don't think it made my ability to enjoy these stories any less. I found the stories get better with next one better that the previous book. I thought the first story was ok, I liked the second story a lot and loved 3rd story. Narrator did an amazing job bringing all the characters to life and making each of them sound different. I am looking forward to other stories set in Northern Pines Den.

Great Bundle!

This is a great bundle of stories to listen to. The first three books in the Northern Pine Den series are enjoyable stories with a unique shifter world with some quirky characters. There is drama, some angst, humor and sweet moments throughout these books.

John Solo does a wonderful job bringing these stories to life.

great series

I loved these books. the way the bears have their own way of speaking is great. and the war is just heating up. can't wait for the next books in the series.

A really good bundle of stories

This was a really great bundle of stories to listen to.
I loved getting to back to Northern Pine to visit with these shifters.

Book 1: Alphas Heart
The fiesty omega finally meets his match with the alpha who accepts him as he is. There is danger that comes and they need to rally to fight it.

The narration in this one was done very well and I really enjoyed listening to this.

Book 2: Alphas Mates
When a kidnapping leads to the bear omega finding his mates, he didnt expect to find two of them. This was a mating of bear, wolf and jaguar which made it quite unique as they all came together.

The narration was okay, Colin's voice really didnt work well for me in this one though.

Book 3: Alphas Strength
A fleeing omega runs straight into his alpha. But danger still lurks and that sets the pace of this story.

The narration was enjoyable but I felt that Diegos voice needed a bit more work here.

Overall, this was a lovely bundle to listen to. With good characters, danger, action and a great sense of pack.
