🔴This Mentoring Session is the Season 8 Premier!!

There are many reasons we don't ask for help. In today's podcast I discuss a few. The first, self-esteem:

Self-esteem encompasses beliefs about oneself (for example, "I am unloved," "I am worthy") as well as emotional states, such as triumph, despair, pride, and shame.

So what does the Bible tell us, and how can we begin elevating our concept of worth? I want to draw your attention to Ephesians 4 verse 25. I believe self-esteem comes from the love we are to have for each other. Equality in the body leads to tremendous growth and a unified message from the church, which is us within the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:25 AMP. Therefore, rejecting all falsehood [whether lying, defrauding, telling half-truths, spreading rumors, any such as these], SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are all parts of one another [and we are all parts of the body of Christ].

Speak truth! As you meditate on the Word of God, take time to let the tension rise and embrace it. If we minimize who we are, we minimize the God we worship.
