Publisher's summary

The last thing I expected on the first day of my dog-sitting job was a middle-of-the-night fire alarm.

Things go from chaotic to scorching hot when I run into my old crush, Miles Thatcher, on my way out of the building.

Talk about disastrous timing.
I haven’t seen him in years - seven to be exact.
Since the day we buried his sister - my best friend.
That was both the best and worst day of my life.
It was also the day Miles kissed me - and promptly forgot about me.

Some things never change. He still has no clue who I am.

Miles is no longer the boy I fell in love with.

Now he’s just a stuck-up big shot with a big bank account and bigger ego.

I wish I didn’t still have feelings for him, but seeing him again only makes me want him more.

If only Miles would finally "see" me.

A lot can happen in seven years, but time hasn’t erased the guilt he carries.

Underneath his fancy façade is a man who can’t get over the grief of losing his baby sister...or the regret of not being able to prevent it.

And I’m just the girl who can’t get over him.

Fun, Emotional and Steamy Romance!

Stuck-Up Big Shot is a fun, emotional and steamy addition to the Cocky World series. Sutton takes on an apartment/pet sitting job not knowing she would run into her childhood best friends older brother and first crush. Miles and Sutton's first meet as adults is hilarious, awkward, and heartbreaking because he doesn't remember who she is. Miles has never recovered from his sisters tragic and untimely death. He has thrown himself into work and closed off his heart from suffering that pain again. Sutton has never gotten over her feelings for Miles. He isn't the carefree, fun, and protective young man she remembers, but knows she can help him find that side again. Miles is attracted to Sutton and feels he might know her from somewhere. But he doesn't do more than one night, and Sutton wants forever. What happens when he finds out who she really is, and the heartache that goes with it?
Narrators Grace Grant, and Jacob Morgan are so perfect as Sutton and Miles. Their expressive voices and ability to easily move between fun and flirty to impassioned and poignant is incredible. I love listening to them both and they definitely make this fun, emotional, and sizzling story even better.

Hmm, I liked this (kinda), not really.

The writing is just...😖 the connections and reasoning don't make sense to me. Too many conveniences and cliches, nothing major, just little things that are the only reasons why the story progresses the way it does. Oh and the foreshadowing points to the opposite of what occurs. Aaaaand another horny teen in an adult body that can't think beyond her lust.
I'm about to DNF this. Glad I didn't, the hot scenes were good. 🤷‍♀️
Why are these lame nicknames such a thing in the Hero Club books!? The 2 before this had stupid nicknames too!

Jacob Morgan ❤️❤️ Grace Grant 🤢🤢 literally waste of a credit because of her unfortunately. Had to skip her chapters.

Not One I’d Recommend

First off the ending was so abrupt. I wanted more story of how their lives were once they were together again. Secondly, the female narrator was horrible! I wound up skipping her chapters because her voice grated on me. The only thing that was redeemable about this audiobook was Jacob Morgan. He could read the dictionary and I’d love it!

Kind of meh

I don't think there was really anything wrong with this book, it just didn't interest me very much while listening to it. And considering the audio narration was done by Jacob Morgan, that is saying something, because it's impossible for him to do bad narration. I feel like the writing was okay, it was just that I found the story itself to be boring, when on paper, it seemed like a story that would be right up my alley.
