A great adventure

Very well narrated by both readers. The story is good, kept my attention and had enough conflict to make it interesting. The blurb tells you that Smith is Kinsley’s sister’s ex, but there is the ick factor that they both slept with the same man. I always hate when siblings sleep with the same person, but if that’s not a thing for you, then the rest of the story is great.
They both learn how to really live life and to do it together.

Great Story

The first book that started the “Hero Club Series” Soraya and Graham’s story Is “Stuck-Up Suit” by ViKeeland and Penelope Ward it took me forever to figure it out.
You don’t need to read the first book but if you want to....

Best “hate-love-hate” road trip ever!

This is just the best roadtrip story ever! Fantastic story and characters. Everything flowed seamlessly. The character development was perfect and the intrigue and secrets were just right. Honestly, one of my favorite books in that last couple years.
Of course the amazing narration duo of Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke made it even more enjoyable. They are sooo good at their jobs! Maxine is easily one of the expressive narrators in the business and Jason just makes everything sound sexy - exactly what Smith’s character is all about. Perfect casting by the author!!

I did not see that coming!

Great story and likable characters. I read this thru twice and the second time I caught things I missed the first time around. Great read!

Smug Bastard

This is the first book I have had the pleasure to read by Stacie Marie Brown. I was not disappointed. This was a wonderful addition to the Cocky Hero series. This was a fun, entertaining, and heartfelt journey to go on with Kingsley and Smith. I absolutely enjoyed this book.

loved this one. The perfect brother’s best friend with a tiny bit of forbidden twist ( since he had a fling with her older sister back in HS). Kingsley is starting a long road trip home from Cali to Rhode Island for her brother wedding when she gets a last minute plea to pick up Smith - her brother’s old best friend from HS who recently picked up their friendship. They haven’t seen each other in 9 yrs (last when Kingsley was the annoying/ awkward 13 yr old little sister. Their attraction is immediate and the sexual tension rockets up from there. Of course they don’t give in right away and their was a little twist or two along the way. Loved it

Some of these Audible Hero Club novels are very good. I really liked this one and they're on audible escape books which is even better. This one had some very intereresting, unexpected and predictable (no matter) twists and turns. I expected heat and passion from Smith/Jason and he didn't let me down. I usually read the summary of the story but I just downloaded the book because of my oh my Jason Clarke's anticipated swoon narration. I've always been on the fence with Maxine Mitchell. Sometimes I really like her and other times not so. Her narration as Kingsley was on spot this time. I shall return her to one of my go to's for listening pleasure.
I didn't think I'd get to hear Jason narrate as much; Maxine/Kingsley narrated the first chapters then Jason comes in does his part so well and that made me happy. I liked Kingsley although she let her sister manipulate her a little at times but you find out why and that she really is a strong person. Good story and great narration by both. Like I said, very nice surprise!! Thank you for some pretty darn good books hero club. My favorite so far and I've listened to several. For me, this one deserved a written rating.

Loved this story

The Hero Club stories have been hit and miss. This one was a hit for me, I’ll have to check to see if Stacey Brown has written other stories.

Good Story Great Narration

Another Hero Club story that I really liked. This one is a forced-proximity/road trip story that had just the right amount of angst .
Narration by Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke. Maxine is simply the best and Jason is always great.
