Female narrator is a problem

The swaps between the male and female were very jarring. The female narration did a bad job of finding that fine line between conveying an annoying character and being actively abrasive to a listener, especially in head phones.

damn fine story

great story, voice acting was clean and clear, but I couldn't always differentiate between dialogue and inner monologue.

top quality writing and narration. lots of interesting characters and wasn't boring at any point

Amazing

This was great and I can’t wait for book 2. The world building is amazing and the premise of how supers came to be is brilliant. The epilogue was a great way to hype up Madhouse.

Really?

okay, I am confused...why does the heroes have to pretend to be villains? They could be heroes without joining the government and do so easily. The story is well written, but I don't really understand the characters motivations, mostly Sam.
