A romantic cabin getaway doesn't go exactly as planned.

Great Listen!!!!

Wasn’t to fond of the way it ended but I was entertained the entire time so still worthy of 5 stars

Narration makes it borderline unfinishable

Every voice the narrator does is stilted and shouting. The cadence is irritatingly off beat.

Bone-Chilling book, narrator who can't emphasize dialogue well 🤷🏼‍♂️

pretty much what the title said, the narrator doesn't know how to read dialogue with the proper emphasis to convey the emotions the characters are feeling, but the writing of the book was so good that I could mostly ignore it so 👌

Super Creepy!

This book was just as scary as other reviews have made it out to be, but also had a surprisingly meaningful portrayal of Native Americans and their culture. Overall I definitely recommend giving this a listen! It's one of the best horror books I've read this year!

Scary book

I thought this book was unique. The storyline was different from anything else I’ve read. The scenes with the fiancé doing crazy stuff during her sleep were especially spooky. The narrator was very good. There were a few things that seemed not quite right, though, like why did he consider Ethan and his father (Ta’We’?) such “good friends”, when he barely knew them? Why did they try to find out what Faye was hiding so hard, if that was the only thing protecting her? There were a few other questions I had, but this is definitely one of the creepiest books I’ve read in awhile.
As a side note, I didn’t care for the speech from the author at the end. I am sick of how offended this younger generation is of everything. These “trigger warnings” that authors feel compelled to include are ridiculous! Here’s what I do, if I start reading a book that I don’t like, or I find offensive, I quit reading it!
