A high-quality book

To be emotionally intelligent, I've learned that you must be aware of your emotions. There are no negative or positive emotions in nature; only our brain interprets them and we feel accordingly. This is where re-framing comes in handy.

Wow. I was eager to read the book again as soon as I completed it. Every accolade was merited by the writing.

A beautifully written story, full of pride, hereditary and love. I loved it, so much I had to listen to the story twice. To ensure, I didn't miss anything the first time.

Interesting to read/hear. The way it would switch between timelines was a little perplexing. It's not bad, like I mentioned.

A good tale given from two perspectives. The voice was generally pleasing, but some of the elderly characters were annoying.

I really enjoyed the narrative

The narration was superb, and each character's voice change was astounding. returned memories of acquaintances from more than 40 years ago. I'd advise it to anyone with a curiosity for world cultures.

While I didn't mind it, I did occasionally find myself checking the amount of time left out of boredom.
