Publisher's Summary

Can you fall for someone you've never even met?

Hailey Taylor Emery has a hunch that her favorite client at Fetch - an anonymous virtual assistant service - is actually hockey star Matt Eriksson. Although it's against the rules for her to check his file, she's 95 percent sure she spends at least part of each day texting with her lifelong crush and catering to his every need. Still nursing a wounded heart thanks to her recent breakup, Hailey is perfectly content with some harmless online flirting...until she has to meet her client. Face to face. Cue: utter panic.

Matt Eriksson is no stranger to heartbreak. He's still not over the destruction of his marriage, and it sucks to be the only guy on the team who knows the truth - that hockey and long-term relationships are a toxic mix. He barely sees his kids, and dealing with his ex makes him feel insane. The only person in his life who seems to understand is someone who won't show her pretty face.

But it's nothing that a pair of fourth row hockey seats can't fix. Hailey can't resist the offer. Matt can't resist Hailey. Good thing he doesn't have to. Fire up the kiss cam!

Warning: Contains rabid hockey fans, misunderstood dick pics, hockey players at the opera, and exploding ovaries.

Another good book by this dynamic duo! I have to save I love the idea of Hailey's business and it made for a fun story line too! Matt & Hailey's story was sweet and playful and very sexy. I have a serious love for single dad's in books so I knew I'd love Matt from the beginning. I love that he is trying to be the best dad he can even if his ex doesn't always make it easy. This book left me feeling happy :)

The narration was 100X better than book 1 for me. They were perfect!

Another awesome collaboration for these authors

What did you love best about Stay?

I always love the humor these gals bring to their writing. Although this one wasn't quite as laugh out loud as Good Boy, it had plenty of giggles for me. My favorite scene was definitely at the poker table with some of our favorite guys from previous books in the series. Meeting them again and hearing their banter was AWESOME.

Which character – as performed by Jacob Morgan and Lucy Rivers – was your favorite?

Definitely loved Matt as performed by Jacob Morgan. This narrator just gets better and better with every book he does. Lucy Rivers was just okay for me. I really didn't care for the way she read the male voices.

Any additional comments?

I love this series, as well has Him and Us, and hope Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy continue to write together. I can't wait to hear if there will be a book 3.

Great story, poorly narration

The story itself is really fun to read. However, the narration was so disappointing. The characters never really came to life and it felt forced at times. I'm a huge fan of both authors books, but the narrators missed the mark on this one.

Great story however:

Great story however Lucy Rivers totally ruined it for me. I went into this story because of Jacob morgan but I have to say Lucy Rivers who did 3/4 of the narration was horrible. If they had used another GOOD female narrator this would have been a total 5 Star book. I don’t usually leave typed reviews but I just had to say something. All the reviews I read were giving her so much credit. After the second chapter I thought “you people have no idea what a good female narrator is.” Jacob morgan is the best actor I’ve ever heard on Audible and pray he doesn’t give up this job to other things. This man makes me feel every character he portrays, HE IS. So maybe listen to other samples of Lucy rivers before purchasing this book. I could hardly make it to the end. Don’t always listen to reviews. Do some homework before spending your hard earned money on a good book done bad by horrible narrators. Ok I’m done ranting. But oh!! Jacob morgan!!!!!!!

4.5 ICK and UGH and DTH INITIAL STARS!!!!

STORY: The bitter, divorced guy (of about 2-ish years) we met back in "Us." Matt Eriksson. We knew he was turned off of relationships and all that, but we didn't know the why. First, we meet up with HTE, aka Hottee, aka Hailey, who is working for (and co-owns) Fetch. Fetch literally does what its name implies...it fetches things you need. {No, it's not from "Mean Girls," lol.} She's been fetching things for clients for a while now, and works with and co-owns this business with her ex-husband. At first, you're not sure how good of a person he is or not...but he actually is a pretty decent guy. {Seriously, listen to the end for his showdown with someone on how decent he is.} One of the people that Hailey fetches things for is Sniper87, whom Hailey puts two-and-two together and figures out he is the hockey star, Matt Eriksson. Matt sees someone on his home camera doing his fetching stuff, and wants to meet her. They do meet and sparks fly. But what about Matt's bitter issues with his divorce? Well, turns out he has a slew of reasons to be bitter and pretty much not going to do relationships, especially ones that involve long-distances like his hockey career demands, of any kind. His ex is a whole mess of trouble...and while you absolutely detest her at first, thank goodness she sort of redeems herself in the end....not by her choosing at all, but at least it happens. Hailey gives Matt the confidence that he is good at relationships and they can power through together.

SIDE SWEET: Matt's daughters, June and Libby, were just adorable as all get out. Their interactions with him just melt you. And I love that Hailey just jumped right in there and loved them too. Rufus was cute as a button too!

SIDE FUNNIES: Yes, these authors can write hilarity! "Drop him like a dress on prom night!"<--yelled by Hailey, I believe. I cracked up sooo bad. Totally was not expecting that. Blake Riley with his "A visor makes you wiser" at poker night with the team, ROFLOL! I love Blake's little one-liners. When the guys were talking and mention a girl is a fox, but she's a foxxx with a triple x rating. It was just classic guy talk and it was fun seeing the team together again. And every time Wes and Jamie were mentioned, I swooned so hard!

SIDE WHOA: Okay, I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that Hailey and Matt's texting, erm, sexting, uh, dicksexting game has got us all beat! "How to Keep Your Long Distance Relationship Going 101" by Hailey and Matt....yeah, I can see that. My, oh my, those were some seriously hot texts!!! And don't even get me started on them in the bedroom....that was on fire for sure!!!

SIDE FUTURE STORY: Okay, was anyone, and I mean anyone getting a vibe from Lemming and O'Connor? Like I don't know if they're together or one likes the other or what's up with that, but I need to know what the heck is going on with them two AND with the skater girl. Just me?!

NARRATION: Jacob Morgan (JM)--JM is a great narrator. I know that when he reads a book, it's gonna be read well. Matt's emotions when his ex-wife was around was there and you knew it through JM's narration. That last part where Matt confronts his ex, JM put some bang in that speech...and I'm glad he did. Matt needed to stand up to his ex, and JM delivered that very well! Also, JM's little kid voices are sooo adorable I can't stand it. I've heard him narrate several books with kids in them and he just nails those little voices down. They are innocent and sweet, but when JM narrates an emotional kid, like, you are choked up sooo bad. It will get you in the feels for sure. Really great narrating. Lucy Rivers (LR)--I don't think I've heard LR narrate before, but this was a pleasant experience. She reminds me of another narrator in a great way. The emotion LR gave for Hailey was there, especially when she was at the hockey game, lol. I think LR and JM work very well together in narrating a story.

CREDIT WORTHY: Yes, for sure. If you're following along with the storyline since "Him" or "Us," it's such a great experience "seeing" the old characters!! 4.5 Stars because I wanted more of this couple...but I loved that last bit!!!!

Stay <3

I really loved Matt and Hailey's story! They are just too cute together and I really liked the male narrator. The female one was also really good. overall, I would recommend it : -)

Easy Listening

I loved the book and enjoyed the audiobook, too, although Mr. Morgan needs to work on his children's voices. The twins sounded garbled instead of child like.

Easy great reads...

Great easy read. Just makes your heart melt. There doesn't always have to be endless heartbreaking drama before a book can be called great.

This just leaves you with s nice warm feeling all the way through. I love Matt!! .. such a great lead character

Great story, Jacob is amazing narrator

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, really enjoyed it. Would recommend.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Definitely Matt, he's swoon worthy

What about Jacob Morgan and Lucy Rivers ’s performance did you like?

Jacob was AMAZING as always. I love everything that he narrates! Lucy was good when narrating as Hailey, but her mens voices are really not great. She makes the men sound slow and a little dumb.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, it made my heart wrench a little here and there, but generally, its just a nice easy story with a HEA. Sometimes it's nice not to have your heart repeatedly torn in two by a story. This one was just a really pleasant read where you could feel the love.

Hockey fun!

A great story with zero angst and funny banter between Halley and Matt. I really liked the camaraderie between the team players and Matt’s two daughters were delightful! Having said that, for me, I didn’t think there was anything really special about this story though. Sure it was sweet and fun but it just lacked the oomph factor. I loved the narrators Jacob Morgan and Lucy Rivers for this audiobook.

Loved the story

I read Stay in one day. I loved it. Jacob Morgan's narration was fantastic. I was a little disappointed though that the female narrator made Matt sound like a stoned surfer dude. However overall I really enjoyed this one.
