Great intro to an amazing crew

These characters and their stories are awesome. A great introduction to the crew in this amazing pirate fantasy setting.

great short story

Intro adventure to an awesome book series! I'd suggest buying outright and not using a credit. it's a short story.

Quick, fun ride.

Looking forward to reading the trilogy that this leads into. Should be some fun characters.

I was wrong

It's a nice short story that I avoided because of bad experiences with the narrator. I knew John Pruden from his narration of the Elminster books and he was awful on those. He sounded like he was reading one word at a time, robbing the story of mystique and excitement. He's much improved here and while it's not Amazing work, it's still better and keeps me going. The story itself is fine and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to the main pirate books.
