Very good. I hope the other novels are coming to audible and book release . I bought the hardback of this when it was first released and waited for the others and they just never came

A Foundational Series

Record of Lodoss War is foundational piece of Japanese fantasy born out of a D&D game between a group of Japanese writers. without Lodoss we wouldnt have SAO, Goblin Slayer, and many other IPs that are so popular today.

why it took so long for Lodoss War to be translated boogles the mind and why it was so easily abandoned after only the first of 7 books (not to mention a sequel and prequel series!) boogles it even more.

Hopefully, Seven Seas will see the error of their ways and move forward with the rest of the Lodoss War series (including Next Generation, Legends, and Crown of the Covenant).

7 Seas hasn’t done anything with this IP for almost 10 yrs

BECMI Lives!

Dan Bittner does a tremendous job voicing the characters and narrating the action. While it would be unreasonable to expect anyone to get close to the voices in the anime, he does very well.
