I just happened upon this book & loved every bit of it. I am hopeful for a sequel.

Great Story

Diana is unabashedly brilliant, in whatever setting she is put. Her determination to survive and her care for young Tipper made me love her immediately. Derek also is fantastic, a police officer who truly wants to do good in his area. Set in Victorian England, this story held me through twists and turns, and has quickly become one of my favorites. The narrator does an excellent job with voices and bringing the story to life.

I really enjoyed this one. It kept my interest the entire time and it flowed very well. It is appropriate for most audiences.

What a fun read! Although the British Empire controls all space travel and owns all colonies in space, there are still gutter rats on the streets, barely surviving by pickpockets and running from gangs. Yet somehow, Anthea Sharp melds the two in a way that works. It's a funny, sweet romp where good defeats evil and true love wins.
