Victor is my hero!!!
I love this series! I love Victors big heart and his FIERCE Loyalty to his friends! The introduction of his new “personality”. Is really dark and I can’t wait to see it in action! Great book!!!

Can't wait for more!
This has been a great series. The author has created an amazing world and magic system , and of course, characters you can really connect with. Can't wait for future books on audio, though the traditional read is good as well. Also looking forward to seeing how this series connects to FWFW.

Love it
The book is a bit slower paced than the first couple of books. He’s not just reacting. He’s making plans and executing them. I love it and can't wait for the next book.

Great addition, the end though...
This was a great addition, and if you liked the last two you will like this one.
I am concerned what the ending implies for the future of the story. In general, book 4 has setup the MC on a undetermined filler quest at least at the start, and it is impossible to say if that quest will consume all of the next book. Therefore, we could be looking at a situation where we won't see the story actually progress till book 5.
However, this book was great as always and plot progression was excellent.

OutRAGEously good story
Can’t wait for some encounters with a certain mythical creature mentioned at the end though like others have said I’m worried he’s going to miss the campaign now. Fingers crossed for another good book coming soon
