Great faith based book

I enjoyed this book. A faith based book that was easy to listen to. The author provided good advise with quotes from the Bible and other good sources along with stories of his journeys.

This was a great book. I’m going to have to listen to more of his stuff.

I am a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. The last year has been personally and professionally rough. My wife and I started this devotional last year, and despite some initial doubts, it has turned out to be one of the best we have used. Incredible!

I was elated and thrilled to find out that Grylls is a fellow believer..
Though no one is perfect and I've wondered sometimes his seemingly compromising
situations sleeping next to woman in 'Running Wild'
I find that to be not a good situation for a believer unless behind the scenes there are many more
people than shown sleeping in the same group.. In any case.. Hopefully he has remained true to the
faith.. And I have found this book to my own delight and surprise to be a great strength.. Surprisingly,
uplifting, provoking, encouraging and comforting... I really appreciate the labor put into it and great stories and
history and many many wonderful quotes, personal stories. And surprising men and woman of God he lists
as examples of the faith. As well, just to hear from someone who has gotten to do so many things after my own heart
such as travels and adventures brings to life and makes these truths drive home.. Packed with Bible!

Amazing Devotional!

This devotional I expected to be peppered with anecdotes of survival adventures, which it was, but ultimately was full of depth, history, and great references and stories from both Bear and other historical figures lives. Highly recommend this devotional. You will get more from it than you'd expect.
