Great book for a spiritual reset

Really enjoyed listening to this book as John L.Cooper that details the reality of Truth. If you are looking for a way to reset your perspectives and lens on our current culture, this book did a good job of analyzing how Gods Truth is essential for a fulfilling life.

Recommend to every new Christian.

I'm 29 years old. I'm reformed. And I live in Oklahoma City. I'm a recovering meth addict. I've been a Christian for 8 years. I've read a lot of theology books and I've read a lot of books in general and my Bible many many times.

And man... there has been a growing concern for people that have similar backgrounds as myself or are just the youth in general of America or anywhere else in the world. We are very misled by our feelings and by false teachings. THAT ARE EVERWHERE. And this book applies to the misguided youth.

Such a good tool for the youth just like you intended it to be I swear nobody will say this stuff anymore unless your a famous professor or theologian.

I will recommend this book to any new Christian especially the younger ones with MUCH EMPHASIS!

Surprisingly Great

I got this book just to listen to something positive, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. John does a great job of explaining complex concepts in a very simplified way, lots of truth & good points made, all in a way that very relatable and easy to understand. 5 stars!

I love how he educates on what’s been happening here over these last several years. He is spot on! We need more people to speak out & tell the truth!

John Cooper, saying it how it is

I really liked Skillet when I was in Jr High, they seemed to be getting really big at the time. I have listened to some of John Cooper's podcast, and I appreciate his bluntness with the truth. This book was about what I expected. A little bit political at times, but not without cause. John jumps around to different topics, but always with the thread in mind that Christ alone holds the truth, He is the way, and He alone is the life. Most Christians who are seeped in the Bible will find familiar/old lessons, occasionally interspersed with Johns personal experience/testimony. New believers or those interested in Christianity, even just fans of Skillet, will find out what it means to follow Christ. I appreciate John's heart in this book, and I earnestly hope it leads many Skillet fans to look for satisfaction, joy, and truth in the right place: In Christ Alone.
