Publisher's summary

Buckle up, kids! This thriller will have you racing to the end.

DJ is a fixer. If he sees a problem, he makes it go away by the most expedient way possible. As an elite member of a secret team of FBI whose sole purpose is to combat global terrorism and organized crime, this usually involves putting his finger to the trigger.

When he impulsively acts to remedy one problem and save a group of hostages from a criminal kingpin, it sets off a domino-like chain of events that involve terrorists, assassins, and traitors. He soon finds himself up against an adversary who is frustratingly efficient at what he does. His foe is a strategist who seems to have all of the moves covered. And, the clock is ticking.

DJ must not only overcome an enemy who is smarter than his whole team combined, but he is on a race against time to avert an event that will claim the lives of thousands.

Slaughter

Love these books. DJ is a man after my own mold. I’m going to think about taking a few lessons from him to solve current issues. We all know there are some things that require his touch. We just need someone to execute!

Bad Dude

DJ is a one man army. He is a bad dude and even more deadly with his whole team. Can hardly wait for the next installment.

One of my favorite series! !

Mr. Beltz, very well done, I love Slaughter! Narration excellent! One correction, reference should be Phil. 3:14, not Phil. 4:13. I'm a student of the Bible and love both those verses and the context.

You left us with a cliffhanger, so please release the next book soon!

Adrenaline charged, action packed...

This is the third book in the DJ Slaughter series. I have to say that although I really enjoyed this book and think the story is deserving of five stars, it does not have the fun, fly by the seat of your pants feel as the first two books did. Because of the way the second book ended I did expect a more organized story but not the quite so serious presentation.
Anyway, this book has an interesting start. A WMD is developed by a scientist working for the US government. When her health issues are ignored causing her imminent death, she makes the weapon available to terrorists.
Slaughter is sent on a mission that was not completely explained, he ends up killing a trafficker of very young girls not knowing this man has the means to get the skeleton key to disarm the WMD.
This book is action packed and fast paced.
Shawn Milo does an excellent job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Skeleton Key

This is a fantastic series. If you love fast paced and action packed reads this is definitely that. There are lots of twists and turns. This had me on the edge if my seat. The Author has written a very compelling story and the scenes are epic. The Narrator really brings out the characters voices in this as well. I would love to see this series as a movie series it is for sure one that you don't want to miss the listen. This series is addicting I hope to see more of it. Its a definite read or listen.

Hokey, Obvious, completely implausible

I can’t tell if it’s the guy narrating…but it’s just so cheesy and obvious. All the nuance and subtlety and humility we get from John Rain, Scott Harvath, Dox, Dempse…this comes off as the opposite. The character comes across as obvious and cheesy. Abbey comes across sp bad cuz the narrator just can’t carry her.

not worth your time

I only made it 2 hours before I just had to stop. story is ill I conceived, and the writing is dull and classificated. very disappointing considering I liked his first two books.

Had to Stop An Hour In.

I stopped about an hour into the book. The plot was disjointed and tiring and the narration is awful. The narrator sounds like he's reading to first graders with childish exaggeration, but in a hurry. It's hard to distinguish one character from another. Previous two books were not as bad and plots were much better (than up to my stopping point). I guess I'm done with the series unless narration changes.
