Some of the information was good, but a great deal came across as if she is sharing an inside joke. It would have been nice to delve deeper into how different faiths have handled death from a Buddhist perspective as we get glimpses of it with the death of her father and others, but not enough to really delve into it. Some of the other schools of Buddhist practices and how they handle death would have been nice as well.

Side note, hearing the title, author, and who is reading it on every chapter was not necessary. There was not even one part where a listener could hit that 30s skip to avoid it without missing part of the opening paragraph in the chapter.
