I very much enjoy the works of Ram Dass

I have listened to a dozen or more videos books and lectures by Ram Dass. This is a book worth readying and or listening too.

A beautiful narrative

I felt like I was making two new friends and sharing this intimate moment. Namaste.

Life Changing Book

This is one of my favorite books. I think everyone should read/listen to it at least once in their life. Also love the narration by Mirabai, who has the most relaxing, loving voice.

Wow - the love comes through

This audiobook is full of truth and wisdom. I was enjoying the hardcopy book so much, but I wanted to hear Ram Dass and Mirabia's voices, so I got the audio book too. I listened a little last night, and I heard some wisdom in a different way from what I gleaned from the written word. I think I'll do what I did as a kid -- lay down on the floor with pillows and blankets, turn on the audio book, and follow along with the words. I can't wait.

I've had the great honor of sitting with Ram Dass at his house myself, and I've had the privilege of receiving teachings from Mirabia on several retreats, and this book captures the essence of these beings, and their love and wisdom shines through. Listening to it, I am there in Maui again, swimming in the ocean of the love with them. What a gift.

More than one way to view death

Death can be a very emotional experience but the book shows how it can be a very loving experience.

Interesting teaching on death and life

Some deep teachings from Ram Dass in a simple way, narrated by Mirabai Bush almost entirely. A bit repetitive at times. The word soul comes very often, being not religious, I found it hard to receive this teaching.

Profound

This book is profound in its humanity and simplicity. A dialog we all should have with the ease and grace of our elders and guides. Humor and devotion. Love.
