Plan on spending time enjoying this sexy love story! Great characters & character development ! Narration in Italian & English made the romantic scenes very passionate! The mystery of hidden enemies & the race to find them was so entertaining. Chersera& Milano’s journey to love each other was exciting, passionate, & full of ups & downs.

I don't know how you can love. A man who looks after a woman like these men do theirs. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I am fully invested in fully in love with these characters, you must listen to this. The more leaders get in amazing job.

Loved the characters and enjoyed there Italian speaking parts, very sexy!!
Great story telling and can’t wait to hear the next two books.

It's pretty good...

The story is OK.
Cesare kidnaps Milana because he thinks theyre meant to be. She fights him over and over thru out the book and he punishes her with very unwanted ànàl sèx and belt whippings. Multiple times....

She thought he did a horrible thing but turns out he didn't. They make up and fall madly in love but it takes most of the book to get there. Stuff happens and he does everything to protect her.

I've listened book 1 & book 2 and still don't know if I like Barone or not.
The male narrator's voice is delicious.

Heartbreakingly sad and beautiful storyline.As someone who has witnessed and experienced ptsd it was spot in my opinion.Well worth the $$ and I am looking forward to adding more audio books to my library from this series
