Adam Rivington has the accent and voice that should be in more books than three

get past the female reader

Man reader was great, woman reader was awful. She sounded too robotic and plain... almost zero emotion from her. The story had depth. Pleasantly surprised.

Different Story

4⭐️4🌶 This is a hot little book from the beginning. I really enjoyed the flirting and faux marriage.

The feels and more.

Jackson is a great male character. Super hot, open with feelings, sexual, and doesn’t give up. When he meets “Jade” he knows what he wants and she is willing to play the part.

Story hasn’t completely overcome her childhood. She uses the guise of “Jade” to play house with a handsome stranger in a little bit of paradise.

The sex is hot. The conflict made sense. It’s a good read. We do get a typical HEA, but it didn’t feel like it was needed. I liked that.

I liked Melissa’s narration. Mature with a good tone. I loved Adam’s and I’m sort of sad that he has a small body of work in romance. He was a nice discovery.

Overall Good Story

So like l said overall this was a good story.

It was a little long but made sense all the way through. I loved their unique meet cute of meeting on respective vacations and then spending the entire week enjoying every single moment with each other while not telling each other who they are outside the island.

The way she has them meet again after they part ways is absolute karma coming around. A little bit of bad karma for her hating the sex industry and a little bit of good karma because they fit so well together.

I love how she finally gave into her feelings and asked him to chase her or woo her. They spent every day together after that.

Adam nailed the snark of this character perfectly but I just didn’t LOVE his voice. I would listen again but I wouldn’t seek him out.

Melissa has a lovely voice with a cute lisp. It really works for her and works well for some characters.
