Pretty Woman Story

Finn & Macey were likable characters, their story was interesting, some angst, little humor, and a HEA. Great narrators.

Cute 'Pretty Woman' Remake

This is a cute story with an HEA. It reminded me a lot of Pretty Woman, just a few minor changes so it's not a carbon copy, but basically...yeah.The only thing I didn't like was the female voice actor. She has a horrible habit of sounding like a pour Mae West wannabe. It's not a good sound for romance books and is distracting at the very least. If it was re-recorded with a better female voice actor, it would get 5 stars.

This audiobook had me from page 2 all the way through. I have never listened to a book so closely. if you ask me Macy is one of the toughest person that I would know. this audiobook lets you hear how one boy from money and one girl from the wrong side of the tracks make things work and then fall apart just to..... You will have to listen to how it ends on your own. Morgan seems to be very intelligent both with street smart and book smart. Finn is a millionaire just trying to make it to a billionaire. The storyline was amazing. The narrators had excellent voices and expressed the audiobook where needed.

It’s all about sex

Spoiler: Why does everything is about sex? Although I like the story, sex was the main reason they got together, and it was revolved around their “ relationship”. I had love/hate for the heroine. She’s strong for her daughter but weak when it comes to Finn. Basically she’s a doormat. She gave in too easily and didn’t make the hero work for it.I didn’t like the hero at all. He was a jerk all the way. At the end he did redeem himself but it was too late and I hated him even more. I gave four stars for Nelson Hobbs performance and the reason I used my credit. Stephanie was not my favorite reader and she still isn’t. Thanks for dual POV, I was able to finish this story.

This story was gross. It’s basically glorified abuse. Maybe it’s the writing, maybe it’s the performance … maybe both. I cringed at every sex scene and every failed attempt at being compassionate. Finn was a horrible, abusive, dominating, self absorbed pig who manipulated and mistreated Macey who had the worst self esteem. There was nothing sexy about this book.
I have to shake this book out of my memory bank. Ugh.
