Love not Sex

I have been devouring Vi Keeland books for the past few weeks. There is just something about her writing style that satisfies my need for romantic genre reading.

May be some minor spoilers***

So...this one was not one of my favorites. The pacing was off and I wasn't a huge fan of Nat. Also, Hunter worked way too hard to get Nat only to not want to be with her? There was so much effort and so much attitude/negativity from her to endure, for him to give up and be like "that was fun, gotta go". I get it. She had been hurt, men were jerks, and so on. But really? She played way too hard for me. I actually liked the relationship Hunter had with all the other female characters in the book. Even his ex. His character's personality helped me finish the book! He had incredible patience with Nat and I don't know if she deserved him. The epilogue was ok, I guess. She was still kind of meh and I don't know... lacking affection? Hard to pinpoint my disdain for her character. The reveal for his standoffish vibes were way more understandable and meaningful than hers.

But, Andi is amazing! She is one of my favorite narrators. She sounds so normal. Not whiny or breathy. Sebastian is great, too.

Enjoyed this book

Enjoyed listening to this book however for a book called sex, not love, it sure took a long time for them to get into it. Seemed it was reversed and they fell in love before sex. Not that I was only listening out for the sex, but just judging the book by its name.

I always love listening to Sebastian York, but was disappointed in the amount of narration he did. Didn't think he narrated sufficiently and when he did, it was always about his past. He did very little narration of the present day except at the end. Its as if the story was only about "Nathalia". Would have liked to hear more from him.

I love this book so much! The story was the best I've listened to in a long time. Vi Keeland is always an instant purchase for me and this is why. The narration was brilliant as usual with these two narrators. I would give this story more stars if I could!

𝐈 was immediately hooked with this story. From the moment Natalia and Hunter first met at a wedding, sparks ignited in the air. Despite Natalia carrying the weight of past heartbreaks, she found herself drawn to Hunter. As they got to know each other better, the simmering tension between them only intensified.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 audiobook is perfect for a binge-listening session. I decided to dive in without knowing much about it, purely because I love Vi Keeland's writing style, and I was pleasantly surprised. The story was beautiful, filled with heartfelt moments and great banter. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐝𝐭 and 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 expertly brought this story to life, capturing the range of emotions that made these characters so special.

𝐀𝐥𝐥 in all, if you're looking for a good storyline with characters that have natural chemistry, look no further. This is it!

I've cried laughed and honestly I loved this book

Sebastian York and Andy Arndt amazing I wish we could pick the Narrators that ready them
