Acerca de esta escucha
Enable your buyers for faster B2B sales.
What drives B2B sales most effectively - focusing on what you do as a salesperson or on what your champion and the buying group does behind the scenes? The latest research makes it clear that the B2B buying process has become too complex and difficult, and buyers today crave companies and experienced guides who make the process easier. Focus on making buying easier, and your prospects will buy from you faster and more often.
Sales teams can shorten the sales cycle by as much as 68 percent when they learn to equip their champion - the people promoting their solution inside the target account - using the DEEP-C™ buyer enablement framework: Discover, Engage, Equip, Personalize, and Coach. This book guides sales leaders and professionals through the process of moving from a sales-focused approach to a buyer enablement model that reduces buying friction and accelerates the purchase.

Historia
You probably think sales reps close deals. But the data’s in. More than 90 percent of B2B buying happens during internal meetings—not sales meetings. Which means deals are won and lost when you're not in the room. Yet, the typical sales book and process still focuses on sales reps in sales meetings. It’s like trying to win a Formula 1 race while driving on the wrong track. That’s why Selling With teaches you the art of buyer enablement—the process of creating committed champions for every deal in your pipeline, while enabling them to sell internally with a compelling written message.

In sales, the worst thing you can hear from a customer isn’t “no.” It’s “I need to think about it.” When this happens, deeply entrenched business advice says to double down on your efforts to sell a buyer on all the ways they might win by choosing you and your business. But this approach backfires dramatically. Why? Because it completely gets wrong the primary driver behind purchasing decision-making: once purchase intent is established, customers no longer care about succeeding. What they really care about is not failing.

Historia
Rule of 24 was already taking place when the 2020 COVID pandemic impacted the business world. The old prospect strategies weren’t working like they used to; your sales process was harder and harder to follow, and you simply weren’t getting as much face-to-face time as you once did. We wrote this book two years before the pandemic and the client engagement challenges and solutions that have presented itself during COVID-19 were an acceleration of what we predicted in 2018.

In the past few years, companies large and small have called on Darius Lahoutifard to get help with their non-performing sales teams. The described symptoms are different from one company to another, but Darius noticed that all they are related to the same illness: the inability to qualify. This book covers both the why and the how of sales qualification. It describes the MEDDIC (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain, Champion) sales methodology in-depth. This is not a book of theories or academic concepts, but techniques with practical recipes.

Historia
People don't buy from people they like. No! Your buyer doesn't care about you or your product or service. It's not your job to overcome objections, it's your buyer's. Closing isn't a skill of good salespeople; it's the skill of weak salespeople. Price isn't the main reason salespeople lose the sale. Gap Selling shreds traditional and closely held sales beliefs that have been hurting salespeople for decades. For years, salespeople have embraced a myriad of sales tactics and belief systems that have unknowingly created many of the issues they have been trying to avoid.

Mark Hunter’s own start in sales was inauspicious, to say the least. He was fired from his first two stints before he began to learn the lessons that he covers in A Mind for Sales. He discovered that sales can be incredibly rewarding, such as when your customers call you for advice, thanking you for improving their business, and letting you know they just referred you to colleagues. The difference is simply developing mindset and momentum habits.

Interesting insights on buyer psychology
This book is a bit salesy in spots but that shouldn’t be a surprise. Despite that it offers interesting buyer psychology insights along with clear suggestions and recommendations for how to accommodate buyers and their needs in ways that are efficient and effective.
