Publisher's Summary

Imagine how different your life would be if you knew how to skyrocket your levels of self-esteem - to stop the negative thinking patterns and mental anguish for good!

Almost every person will suffer periods of low self-esteem at some stage in life; it’s unavoidable. Replacing this negative conditioning with more positive programming is critical to building a successful and harmonious life. Most women simply aren’t equipped with the right emotional control or accurate outlook on themselves to really make this change.

Katherine Chambers is a former Stanford psychologist who specializes in all forms neuroscientific and psychotherapy subjects. However, it wasn’t until she left college life and entered the "real world" that she began to understand these theoretical topics in a practical sense. Over the past 15 years, she has built a multi-six-figure consulting business and a family of her own.

In this insightful and functional audiobook, Chambers gives listeners a firsthand look into the overriding concepts of self-esteem, as well as a practical real-life guide on how to:

  • Tell the difference between self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Understand why women can suffer poor self-image
  • Spot the warning signs of an inferiority complex
  • Better understand anxiety and depression
  • Developing more effective thinking patterns
  • Using catastrophizing to your advantage
  • Implementing positive “anchoring” and “framing” techniques
  • Affirmations and assertiveness training to really excel
  • And much more

Bad reader

I enjoyed the materials presented in the book, but it was painful to listen too. The readers voice was sooo monotone and boring! there were no ups or down. It made it very very difficult for me to remain engaged. I had to re-listen at different points several times. Please change the reader

Incredibly useful

Incredibly useful for understanding yourself and improving yourself. It doubles up as a parenting guide, since you'll understand how to raise a kid's self-esteem, and what manner of parenting and interacting with your kid will destroy it.

Made me positive!

If you are truly interested in change in your life, this book will help. I discovered by doing the inventories and analyzing my own feelings and habits, that what I thought was positive ways of coping with interactions with people, were actually negative and self defeating. I've recommended the book to several friends and family members

Very practical strategies

This book was recommended to me when I was studying and it's a text I seem to always go back to and use especially when working with clients who have concerns about self esteem. The book is easy to listen and provides well explained practical strategies you can implement yourself or teach others. It's worth the price if you want to use with clients and makes a great self help book.
