The Kickstart I Needed

Why is it that we know so many ways to look after ourselves and yet we don't do them? This audiobook was a pleasant reminder to slow down, bring myself back to the present, and set out some ways I can improve my life. There were lots of tips and advice and I feel more relaxed and organized after listening.

Every woman needs to listen to this!

I truly needed to listen to this to recharge my batteries and get my groove back! I loved the structure of the book to cleanse different areas of life including mind, body, and soul. I am a huge fan of mantras and made the mantra section of the book a part of my morning routine as a great way to start the day. I, like a lot of other women get busy taking care of everyone else around them, so the 99 Self Care Ideas in this book are a total God-send, and make it easy for me to remember to take care of myself. Highly recommend!

Overall Great Guide for a Woman

Taking care of yourself isn’t just about outer care. This is a great guide to also take care of your mental being. You need to care about yourself first to have a happier life. Good read and to the point.

Important info on self care

I am guilty of not giving myself enough time in the day to get myself ready, much less taking time out to dedicate to my own self-care. I love what Amanda has done with this book guiding me through a commitment to myself. I always knew that doing something enough it will become a habit but hearing it explained this way was super helpful. I really feel like I have more control of my life. My 2022 resolution was to focus more on myself and this was a perfect way to achieve that.

Cleanse your life is right!

The chapter on cleansing your soul was particularly helpful for me. I struggle with unforgiveness in my family and this chapter really drives home what energy you allow in affects your cells and can lead to other problems. A must-listen for any woman with trauma in her past!
