Loved it!

Simon’s character was just so perfect and Annabelle was just straight out annoying, not just if she had other qualities except being pretty. I’m not sure that the reason of being a wallflower was credible but all in all the story was good because Simon was so excellent - the declaration at the end was heart melting

Good story fast paced and enjoyable read. It has been entertaining as I drive to and from work

This is a really great book, I just wonder how much better it would have been if it wasn’t abridged. Good story with an explosive ending! On to the next book!

Loved the story and the narrator! I can’t wait to revisit the other wall flowers and hear their stories again!

Another wonderful Kleypas

Although this isn’t my favorite of the Wallflowers series, I do enjoy it and enjoy watching the relationship build between Simon and Annabelle. I have read the book and listened to the narration several times and have no doubt I will again in the future.

Highly enjoyable

Fantastic narrator and story! I loved the pacing of the romance, it was juuuust right. All of the characters are so vivid. Truly got lost in this story and left very satisfied. And of course excited to read the next!

2004 Edition better.

I had a copy of the 2004 edition so I could see what was removed, the whole prologue. I cannot understand why that was removed and an alternative not written. This version is simply not as good as the original, and that’s unfortunate. Roslyn Landor, she always does a superb job.

beautiful!

This was like a poem written in story format. Such a beautiful story with dramatic love lines. The narrator did a great job too. The story line is very similar to North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I LOVE this book and plan to relisten in the near future.

there's no reason to have shortened this book the original book with the prologue is a better story

Simon wants Anabelle for her, he did not mind if he wasn't her first...which I was glad Simon was surprised to learn the truth...that was a gift for both. I loved 😍 ♥ this love story ❤ and how he was determined to get it on in 3mins.. 5mins...and how Anabelle knew he wasn't joking. 🥵
