The characters

This story kept me engaged. The characters were interesting and likeable. I intend to follow Sophie and her crew in this series.

Very enjoyable

This was a free selection from the Audible Plus membership. I was pleasantly surprised and found the story, narration and characters just fine. I looked forward to getting back to it each day and that in and of itself says a lot about a book.

The back story is compelling (wealthy politician ruining lives and killing people to promote his own agenda)and I’ll be disappointed if each successive book doesn’t build on it.

The biggest compliment is that I’m going to purchase the next one in the series as this is the only free offer.

Beautifully written and produced. Absolutely recommend these books to anyone who loves a good mystery with a strong female character.
