Amazing John Solo did a amazing job bringing these characters to life. Seb has to help his family and it ok with that but after endless nights of hot sexy times he is bored in quaint Cape Porpoise until he meets Marcus. This is hot and steamy with lots of fun romance adventure with a young man looking for the perfect silver fox and finding him. Amazing.

A Gripping & Heartfelt Story! Exceptional Listen🎧

I loved everything about this book, from K.C. Wells’ wonderful writing style to the amazing characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narration who brought it all to life from the pages to my ears. You can feel how much heart Ms. Wells put into this book as the heartfelt emotions pour off the pages and tug on your heartstrings. I am loving the Maine Men series, the characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Each book in the series featured different lead characters and can be enjoyed on their own, though I highly recommend them all. This book brings us Seb Williams and Marcus Gilbert’s story. Seb is the Maine Man, he is a schoolteacher and has been looking forward to having the summer off but he gets a bucket of ice thrown on his hot summer plans, instead he will head to Cape Porpoise, a quiet fishing town to work on his Uncle’s fishing boat while his Uncle recovers from his broken pelvis. Seb thought it was going to be a long, boring summer, but that is not how it went, and he may have found exactly what he was looking for right in Cape Porpoise. Marcus remembered visiting Cape Porpoise when he was younger and figured it would be the perfect place to take a break from his hectic city life and rethink things. He did not plan, nor did he expect to meet a gorgeous eyed young man, one that he felt an attraction to, he tried to ignore him, but it was inevitable the chemistry between them was electric and he could only ignore it and him for so long. It was like these two were meant to meet and were meant for each other. I loved the originality of this story and how it all plays out, the plotting is brilliant, the real life struggles were touching and presented realistically. This book has the perfect balance of heavy and light hearted moments, there is never a dull moment and the story is captivating from start to end. K.C. Wells, thank you for another exceptionally beautiful story and a steamy hot romance.

🎧📚🎧 And for the stellar narration, John Solo is a wonderfully talented narrator and versatile voice artist. He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays, giving each a voice that suits that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role that he plays and just as I picture the character to sound. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the characters’ emotions and projects them into his performance. He sets the perfect tone for the story, handles the back-and-forth dialogue with effortlessly and never misses a beat. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Love Seb & Marcus

Seb's Summer (audio) by K.C. Wells was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Seb, a school teacher, was looking forward to the summer when he is roped into taking care of his uncle's fishing company after his uncle gets hurt. Marcus, a copywriter, needed a place to recharge his batteries so he decided to go to his parents' summer house in Cape Porpoise. Marcus wasn’t looking for anything especially love but when Seb burst into his life bold as you please, neither of them expected to fall in love.This was a great book that changes your perspective and finds that when you need something the most it shows up in the most unexpected places. John Solo was wonderful as the narrator who had his work cut out for him with the whole of Marcus’ family and worked his magic perfectly.

Life

Book 3 in the Maine Men Series, and I've enjoyed every moment and every word of it.
I really enjoyed reading Seb and Marcus' story. The chemistry between them was and is undeniable.

I was hooked from the day I read the blurb of Book one. KC does a great job outlining personal issues and struggles and that draws readers in. it makes one think about the world we live in. Life is not perfect and it is what we make it.

Thank you KC Wells, keep up the good work and I'm looking forward for what is next.

Suspense 😳

A great story as always from K.C. Wells, full of emotions, steamy as well as funny, heartwarming as well as heartbreaking at times...plus a secret I couldn't figure out, one of the MC held me in suspense for a long time 🤪

Amazing listen!

This is such a heartwarming amazing story. I love Seb and Marcus! Their story is definitely a story that gets your emotions and thoughts going. Such a beautiful story. Then John Solo does an amazing job being this story to life. I love all the voices he does and how he pulls me even more into the story. Such an amazing listen!

Genius

This book works in a sobering discussion on a real world dilemma in a way that grabbed my attention and really made me think. The author completely invests readers in character development through most of the book before dropping that bombshell. It’s powerful when you fell like it’s someone you know.

Seb's Summer

You never know where life will take you. Both Seb and Marcus are in Cape Porpoise but for different reasons. When their worlds collide sparks fly but are the two just passing the time or could it deepen into something worth fighting for?

I enjoyed Marcus and Seb. The two are good together and it was nice to see their relationship grow. Seb is a good man and lets Marcus decide what that relationship will be. He doesn’t push and they grow naturally but Marcus is hiding a secret, one that threatens everything. Can their attraction turn into something that will withstand this secret? This is a sweet sexy story that will pull on your heart and have you believing in love. Narrator John Solo does a good job of bringing out the emotions of these characters and I was quickly immersed in their story.
