a sweet story

My Best Friend's Brother is a beautifully written sweet story. Casey has just finished his first year of college and doesn't really want to spend the summer at home. He ends up spending the summer in California with his older brother, Trask, and Trask's best friend Rylan. Casey has had a crush on Rylan since he wax 14 and the more time they spend together the more Casey realizes it hasn't gone away. I love the protectiveness Trask has for Casey. But in the end Casey is an adult and can love who he wants. I love Casey and Rylan together, they are so sweet, and I'm glad they were able to explore and enjoy their relationship. Definitely recommend.
Narrator John Solo does a wonderful job.

great book!

The "falling for my brother 's best friend " trope is a fun one and I loved how the author used it! It was a great book, sweet and fun and I loved the chemistry between the main two characters! the narrator was absolutely fantastic!

No angst story narrated by one of my faves!

One of my favourite tropes. Casey has secretly been in love with Rylan for 5 years. A summer spent sleeping on the couch in the apartment his brother shares with Rylan has Rylan seeing Casey in a whole new way. A sweet no angst read of two lovely guys falling in love. As always John Solo does an excellent job.

First crush, first love and a meddling brother lov

This is the story of how one man can go from partying almost every night to finding out that being struck by lightning is less scary than falling in love at first sight of the man his best friend's brother has become. I really enjoyed this book with the teasing and the low angst as well as the visuals of living in Hermosa Beach. I swear you can feel the hot sand under your feet and the hot men parading along the beach too. John Solo was awesome as always.

Just Love You

Casey has loved for a long time and now he just has to decide what to do with his feelings. I like that both me were being really careful but once they realized they were on the same page it was full steam ahead. Casey's brother is well meaning but just a bit too much in everyone's business. I love the final chapter that wraps up their future.
I listened to the audio version which was well done and this was an enjoyable listen.

So sweet!

Casey and Rylan's story is just so sweet. I love the chemistry between these two. This is so amazing to see how these two get together. Then John Solo does such an amazing job with this narration. I love how he gave this story even more life. Such a sweet listen and exactly what I wanted to listened to.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one from KC Wells! It was one of her shorter novels so it went by fast! Slow burn, sweet main characters, I really liked this story. John Solo did a good job narrating this one.

When Casey comes to visit his brother and Rylan during his college break Rylan is surprised at the change in Casey. No longer is he the scrawny younger brother of his best friend but now Casey has grown up into a man.

This is a sweet and sexy story of two friends finding love. Riley has always been around and has always been there for Casey when he was growing up. Casey has hidden his feelings for Rylan since he was a teen but now that Rylan sees him as more can he dare think his dream might come true? I enjoyed the way their relationship developed. The two tried to ignore the attraction that was between them but there is no ignoring love. As the two spent more time together they got to see what each other was like not only on the outside but the inside as well. Casey’s brother got a little too nasty with the way he treated Rylan but his overprotectiveness for his little brother was nice. This story moves at a good pace and the author does a nice job of giving these men strong personalities and a good story. Narrator John Solo does a great job of giving these characters life and emotions and had me quickly drawn into the story.

Great book & audio 🤩

A sweet story about a young guy with a long-term crush on his brother's best friend who has a bit of a "player's" reputation.
Add to that the said brother with a mile wide overprotective and overzealous streak, all together in an apartment during summer ...and you get some funny as well as steamy scenes expertly written by K.C. Wells and perfectly narrated by John Solo 😍

I loved it!!

This was a great story with great narration!! I really enjoyed it. It was realistic, and I like how it took a little bit for them to get it together. I definitely recommend!!
