Dylan Kane's decimated platoon holds a tenuous grip on the asteroid base. They're freeing the imprisoned rebels when an enemy cruiser surprises them and attacks, destroying their assault ship and leaving them stranded.

They're driven into the base's subterranean levels where they must scavenge for supplies, fight overwhelming odds, and find a way to destroy the attacking battle cruiser. A turn of good fortune gives Kane's soldiers a chance, but the ensuing raid leaves them in a desperate struggle to survive.

good story solid characters i lived every minute. and I hate the commanding bitch.

A Science fiction need to listen to!!!!

The storyline and narration keeps you wanting to hear more! I have 12 -15 stops on my route a day. I’ve been listening to this series since book 1. Great narration!!!!! I’ve back the truck in after along day and wait 10 minutes for the end of a chapter! Finished 2 working on the 3rd! Thumbs up !!!!

The battles continue

one major battle behind them, Kane and his small fighting party have to fight for control over the rebel base. But it never simple when Blair is causing problems.

its a great series

loved it i advise you give it a go. I'm on book 3 they are quick listens

very good

i love the narrator very funny and nails the sarcastic tone of main character. story is good too but I'm kind of biased because I love anything to do with science fiction and space battles.
