Jason and Sophie are teachers at a rural high school north of Tampa, Florida. When an EMP attack spreads chaos and lawlessness, they are unexpectedly left responsible for a group of their former students.

Without electricity, phones, or transportation, civilization collapses, and terror reigns. Jason's background as a decorated Army Ranger former officer and his history as a prepper help them. But can they survive in a world where organized predators prey on the young and innocent?

Well done book on the authors views of most likely types of debauchery and RMP disaster would result earliest and how being even minimally prepared could help

Only made it to chapter 26 before I got sick of hearing constant unnecessary talk about relationships, some between adults and minors. That along with the constant swearing and more importantly the complete lack of any useful information makes it a waste of time to go any further. I can suffer through a lot in a book if I can learn something, but this had nothing so far. If you want a good end of the world high schoolers story definitely check out the Stranded series by Theresa Shaver.

The narrator is fantastic, Five stars for him.

I won’t say what the specific theme is that there me off - because I don’t want to draw attention from that type of crowd. But I’ll say, by chapter 19 you’ll understand the fixation I’m referring to. Had to return it at the hot tub scene. It was the last of a few times the author went there. Nope.

All the Nopes in Nopeland

Don’t spend money or credits on this series. The only good aspect was the narrator he did a good job

Every single character is extremely unlikable
