Good plot

Not a huge fan of how it ends however over all it was good.

Perfect spooky season book

A perfect read for spooky season with all the fall vibes. I really enjoyed this book. It had lots of twist and turns where you would think you had things figured out, but you don’t.

Great Read

I read this some amazing besties. What a fun read. Following this young women through her journey of trying to find out information for the client she is representing, she discovers some of her family’s hidden secrets to. Loved this story. Such a great read for this time of year.

Whatever works in the moment

My number one complaint of this was the narrator's voices. That being said, I literally cringed multiple times while listening to this. This was not written well. Visuals given for most scenes and even character actions were cliche and brought nothing new or interesting. I really disliked the characters. Their motivations purposefully confusing for the story but not something someone would actually do to cover up their tracks or misdirect others. WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO LOOK STUNNINGLY PERFECT? It becomes gross. Graduating at the top of her class- but can't ask proper questions or do any research herself. Endangering her "bestie" friend's job was a cringe moment as well.
The scene at the end, in the hollow, was good. The line "Anger curled in my stomach" was really good. -for these two things alone I gave 3 stars. Story ok- spiderman stand off at the end-not ok. Kill your darlings as they say.

A great fall or Halloween read with some romance. Not too spooky. I could have used something more scary but that’s just me.
