good story
a good story with some interesting twists.
the cast did a great job being the story to life.
I did find it odd that samkin, who was an archer, really didn't use his bow and arrows to fight with.
highly recommend for teen and adults, and other than a few fights, children should like the story.

best book of the redwall series so far! Great character voices, amazing story, and badgers,my favorite animals in redwall, play a major roll. I liked the characters of logolg , mara, pickle, earthstripe, thrug, baby Dumble, and Samkin best. ferago the assassin is a great villain

Love these books so much. Teaches children the concepts and importance of loss, friendship, loyalty, and hope.

AWESOME
I originally purchased this book for our son to read because he had read one of the other Redwall books. Being an avid reader, I decided to listen too! Wow! I couldn't stop and before I knew it I had finished the book ahead of him! The full cast truly brings the book to "life" as if its a movie!
