Brain Jaques is a master storyteller- with a full talented cast his words come alive!

Perfection

Some great songs, and perfect voice acting. Another story worthy of Redwall with feasts, battle, life, death, treasure, love, monsters, riddles, and no loose ends.

Each of the animals different dialogue

It is just as good as you can remember it, from when you were a kid yourself.

Slightly disappointing

I have listened to every Redwall book available on audible with the exception of The Sable Queen. This is the first performance that I am giving less than 5 stars. The volume of the voices in this performance changes randomly throughout the book. Not a huge issue, but I am still slightly disappointed.
I will continue to recommend these books as they are all amazing!!!

Sound Quality

Always an enjoyable cast recording, and the storyline varies from other books in the series, which I loved. The sound became softer and louder throughout the recording making it hard to hear.

Any of the Redwall books are well worth the time!

I listened to at least 10 of the Redwall series books and although they can be “predictable”, the stories of the woodland gentle creatures and their loyalty in defending peace and their Abby is well crafted and delightful.
All of the stories are theatrical productions with multiple voicing, music, and singing. The description of food is amazing and the antics of the dibbons caused me to smile and even laugh every time. And although the hares are greedy gluttons, the “what-what” and their bravery makes it all better. Entertaining and engaging. Age- kids who are okay with the some battle things, some good beasts giving sacrificially (and the bad ones going down too!!), and some kidnapping scenes that can be scary. Some of the “vermin” have some scary voices. Maybe 9-12+ - my kids read them when they were young and as an adult, I’ve just read them myself!!!

Another wonderful book.

A book well worth one's enjoyment. It has been the perfect beach book to hear behind the surf and breeze.
