Publisher's Summary

Rook and Ronin Omnibus contains the books Tragic, Manic, and Panic and features a runaway girl who falls into a million-dollar dream of cherry trees and rooftop swings. A bad boy with a sketchy history of breaking pretty girls. And a job called Tragic that might ruin everything.

Tragic

She’s on the run from a horrible past.

He’s got an offer of a lifetime.

Ronin

Rook Walsh appeared out of nowhere like a dark angel sent to steal my soul. And I could just tell that she was broken, and beaten, and scared.

So I made her an offer of a lifetime. She needed a job and I needed a certain "type" of girl for a modeling contract worth millions of dollars called Tragic.

I was warned to keep my hands to myself.

I was warned not to get involved.

I was warned not to ruin her.

(The way I ruined the last one.)

But I don’t take orders - I give them.

Rook

Ronin Flynn appeared out of nowhere like a bright light in my heavy darkness. And when he offered me a job, and money, and a fantasy rooftop apartment, I wanted to believe that he was good, and fair, and honest.

But I’d been tricked by a pretty face before.

I’d fallen for the knight once - and lost everything.

This was my chance to start over.

This was my chance to escape and be free.

And this was my chance to do it all by myself.

I don’t need a knight.

I don’t want to be saved.

But sometimes you find yourself trapped inside the fairy tale, and no matter how hard you try, nothing you do can stop the train wreck coming.

Fantastic

I love the Rook & Ronin series which leads to The Company (which is awesome) You cannot go wrong with J A Huss. I purchased these books separately initially &then they were not available only to be republished as an Omnibus! I spent the money because I love this story, but please stop making us pay for it twice!

Loved this audiobook!

JA Huss is my top favorite author. I have read her books and listened to her audiobooks numerous times. They are my go to between other books. Huss writes so well with mind-blowing storylines and characters that one can't help falling in love with. And I'm talking about the couples. You just can't help wanting them to succeed. I loved having these three books in one audio! Thank you Julie for combining them together like this!! Ronin and Rook had such a tragic story. There were so many ups and downs. I enjoy the ride each time. My heart breaks and then fuses back together though out the story. I never get bored with this book. Such a beautiful ending for them. Ford...my heart is broke for him. I can't wait for his book!! Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke did an excellent job narrating. If they had been the first to narrate this series, I'd be singing their praises high and loud. They are good. But I prefer Troy Duran and Jennifer Reilly's narration. Maybe because they were first, and they're who I hear when listening to this book. They no longer available to my knowledge, so hopefully I won't loose them when I delete them from my phone.

I loved it!

I’ve always been in love with this trilogy. The addition of Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke with the narration added to my enjoyment. The story and the narrators were a perfect match!

💕 😘 Love

The story was great. I love all three books. I don't really have too many complaints actually I only have one, it's about the narrator, the woman when she reads Ronin's lines from Rook's perspective. And then it was really only 1 word that got on my nerves. It was when Ronin says okay, the way the narrator said it always sounds condescending. The way it's drawn out to sound like mmm kay... drove me crazy. All in all though the books were great I love them. I'm going to be reading Spencer and Ford's books next. I can't wait to find out what happens to the other men. JA Huss is a wonderful writer 🤣

Great series

It has ups and downs for me but overall, it is a great series with a great plot. I love Julie’s devious mind. Her stories always come out with a bang! You will get annoyed, wanna slap the characters, fall in love with them, get annoyed at them again, will be confused then figure things out – you know, that rollercoaster of emotions that great stories puts you through – and in the end, you’ll feel great but with a book hangover! The narration is great! Erin and Jason are some of the best performers in this genre. I do have a teeny tiny comment about Erin’s narration. She sniffed a few times like she has a runny nose in this series. I wouldnt make a big deal about it if it happened once, but it happened a few times so I hope the audio engineers can edit it out. Other than that, their performance is amazing! Cant wait to start on Ford and Spencer’s stories.

Great Series

JA Huss writing is very captivating. I read the first book in this series a few years ago so the do-over was good because I forgot how Rook and Ronin met and I had been meaning to read the others in the series but because they have cliffhangers I didn't. I was excited to see the 1-3 combined into one book. I think the last is my favorite of the 3 because it gets deeper into Rooks story and what made her the way she was, it also gave more insite to Ronin, Spencer and Ford's friendship. So now I may need to read Ford's story and Spencer's story. I didn't realize when I read some of the other books that they are spin-offs so to speak. I should get the reading order because I've already read The Company, 321 and 18.

Fantastic storyline

It was nice having all 3 books together to complete the entire series. So much emotion was elicited from the storyline. It was hard to put it down. Narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. I love JA Huss books because she makes them interesting; not your run of the mill stories.

Totally enthralling! A cliffhanger at each part

Totally enthralling! A cliffhanger at each part. Will there be more to this story? Thank you for using my favorite narrator, Jason Clarke! He does such a wonderful job with different voices for many characters as he reads- so enjoyable. Where romance is concerned, his voice is my preferred male lead. The story was outstanding, not predictable, thank you.
