Loved the snook so much!…

….. buttttt Mark Kamish was the completely wrong narrator for Vaughn Asher! In my head all I could picture was a 50 year old man with dentures that wouldn’t stick all the way! It was so hard to get past his voice!

Status - We find out Grace's secret past. 😰 Poor Grace! I want to hug her! I love how Huss writes their conversations because they're realistic and true to their characters.
Profile - Haha! What happens in Vegas baby! This installment started out on a hot note then got very dark real fast. 😬😰 Vaughn IS her prince, whether she wants to believe it or not.
Home - We all need a Vaughn Asher, not just to save us when we're in over our heads but to call us out on our bs with facts and love when we're staying under. Also, 😏 hot sexy dom play would be very nice too. This was a very satisfying end to their story. ❤
I LOVE this series, but ffs what a rollercoaster!
Both narrators are new to me: Autumn did well and Mark is a new rabbit hole I want to dive into head first. 😏 Too bad he doesn't have many romance books under his belt. 😔

I’d like to start by saying that I enjoyed this story, emphasis on the word story. I’m a big JA Huss fan and I love her writing style. This book is hot without sacrificing the plot.
That being said I’d recommend getting the non audio version of this book. I didn’t listen to the sample before I bought the book and I regret not doing so. The male narration was damn near unbearable. It sounded like Father Time was dry fucking my ear hole. There were times that I laughed out loud during the sex scenes because it sounded like someone’s pappy was getting down and dirty with light BDSM. So to sum it up, good book bad narration.

Good, But Episodic, Ch 48 audio issue

Good Book, but I felt that this book could have ended way sooner than it did -

Realistic

One of the most emotionally realistic depictions of a BDSM relationship that I've read. The characters are flawed, courageous, complex and interesting.

Good Story But….

I almost couldn’t get past the female narrator. I pushed on because I liked the story, but there were several times I wish I bought the book instead.

This was HOT but could have been So much hotter!

This story was awesome! Great amount of mystery, funny moment and super spicy scenes! I just think the worst people were chosen to narrate. Grace’s narrator sounds like a teenager so spicy scenes were kind of weird if you think about it too much. It kinda fits the whole Brat thing though. Vaughn’s narrator did not have the voice of a sexy dom. He actually sounds unattractive to me. Both of their imitations of each other were terrible to me. The story was the only thing that kept me listening through the end. I’d love to get more Dom/Sub stories from Julie though!

JA Huss, DAMN GIRL!!

while I'm not one to rush through a book, or a series as it were, JA Huss just keeps me eager to the very end. Impatient. Desperate. I insert myself into these stories and become her characters. This is one of my favorite series. So, at first I was not crazy about the male narrator voice. But as I listened on, he acted his parts so well. Ultimately, I came to enjoy Vaughn's voice. I found myself at times wanting to shake Grace and ask what the fuck is wrong with you. At other times I felt for her. I was satisfied with the end though.

It's a story that is engaging enough, but Asher is a douchebag. I cant handle him.

6 Books in 1!

You get a great deal with this one, all 6 books for one credit.

Vaughn and Grace, they go through a lot. A LOT. Because there were 6 books at some points a few things felt redundant but over all this was a great listen. The voice talent was new to me and did well.
Lots of past trauma for Grace to overcome and at times I got very irritated with her character however given her past, it does make some sense why she does what she does.
JA Huss never gives you a formula or a cookie cutter story and this is no different.
