Simply amazing

I'm blown away, again, by Julie's incredible writing. The narration was also fantastic. The twists and turns will leave you stunned.

One of her best!!!!!! going back to re read it. had me wanting to read the end early.

Hello Inception!!

I love this book. Have been waiting for a new book from Julie for a while now, so it feels like. I have read/ listened to every J.A. Huss book, as well as, K.C Cross, with the exception of Losing Francesca and His Turn. (I just haven't got to them yet.) Julie NEVER disappoints. I HATE HATE HATE reading reviews where people go on and on like they're having a discussion with their book club, filled with paragraphs of spoilers and dissect every detail for the review. (People please for the love God quit doing that). The only "spoiler" I will give is this book is a bit like the movie Inception. Throw in a love story and this book is soooo good. I promise if you get confused that by the end you won't be. It all comes full circle. It took me a few chapters to really be grabbed by the story. But once I touched the web, I was entangled. Julie's mind definitely wove a web with this one. My only "bad" review is we did not get an EOBS! WTF JULIE?! 😘 (I cannot believe how much I've come to love the EOBS.)

Loved the story

Loved the story! I listened to the book and it was a little hard with all the back and forth in time to keep up, but the end brought it all together! I want to listen again when I can do it all in the same day!loved it!!

Plot twist

I liked this book a lot. I didn’t think the book was confusing as some reviewers say, I think it was suspenseful and a mind tease. Never quite sure wtf was going on till it all came together and you get that ah ha moment. I do wish the HEA was happier and more telling. It left me wanting to know more about what happened with the characters in the future. Maybe a longer epilogue. Hopefully the author will write another in continuation, telling more of their stories and maybe some revenge towards the society or maybe they decide to take the drug and continue doing actual good with it considering in the end some of them ended up with a better life than they could have if they were never chosen for the experiment.

Started slow but I kept listening because I knew you wouldn’t disappoint and you didn’t!!

WOW!!

I have to say I very rarely write reviews but this book was phenomenal. Most of the time when reading a book that has twists and turns I can figure out what is coming but with this one, I had no clue. I absolutely recommend, it was a fantastic book and I will be listening to it again and again 😍❤️ JA Huss is an extremely talented author that seems to always make my escape from reality very interesting 🥰🤩😍❤️

Slow to get going, but worth the wait.

I'm going to be honest... there were a couple times in the first few hours of this book I almost bailed. The story was moving fairly slow, and I wasn't enjoying the characters very much. Especially Nova: the girl had no common sense. Because I really like JA Huss, I stuck it out and finished the book, and I'm so glad I did. Everything comes together and it all make sense. Totally worth it in my opinion. Huss is good that that kind of thing. I totally recommend.

Narration: Both narrators were fine, but James and Desiree had very different styles of doing Mercer which was weird. The semi-english accent applied by Desiree was not good, and since James didn't apply this at all, it was bazaar.
