  • I am struck by how open people have been with sharing their truth on the 'Tales of the LGBTQ+' podcast.

    Ron will be a frequent contributor on this podcast and we were initially set to discuss another historical topic.  After Robert Hamilton's episode was released, Ron came to me and said he would like to talk more about himself and the journey he has been on with his health and his battles with the healthcare system due to being a long hauler when it comes to HIV/AIDS.

    Today was a more focused interview on the singular topic of HIV/AIDS and specifically the ups and downs Ron has faced with the Healthcare system since his diagnosis.  Many of us have the belief that HIV/AIDS is not something to worry about anymore, but Ron's honest transparency with his life provides caution.
