smooth read

good story, smooth read.
this book is kind of a contemporary romance....slow burn.
Didn't understand the correlation between the title and the story.

Short listen

This was the first book I've read/listened to by Melissa Stevens. It was a good read for a short story. A slow burn vs love at first sight. I liked the characters, but didn't really feel them. I had trouble getting the characters names straight at first because her female was a frequent male name and the male had a more frequent female name...from my experience. I realize they can be either/or names. It was just confusing for me.

Bump Turgeson had an easy to listen to voice. He just wasn't good at switching voices which contributed to the male/female confusion at times.

Romancing the defense...and that’s it.

This is a nice story. The story flows nicely and the characters are okay. I wish something exciting would happen but we get to watch them figure out how to get together. I would have liked more depth to the characters. This is the sixth book I have listened to and I still have no connection to the characters.

I did listen to this on audio. Bump Turgeson is the narrator. I wish he would have used a couple different voices for the two main characters. They each have gender neutral names and it was hard to figure out who was talking at times.

A nice romance.

This is a nice romance. The sex is off the page. Not much action, just a story of how they met and their instant attraction.
I listened to Audio version. Bumps does a nice, clear job reading it. Not too much acting out the parts.

Good story

This is a good weekend story to read'listen, It flows nicely and the characters are nicely developed. I would recommend.
