Delightful

Such a delightful book. Perfect for this season in my life when I was looking for something to take my mind off of heavy things. Great story lines. Switched back and forth between characters beautifully.

I loved the narrator and if u enjoyed downtown Abby then this is a must read for you. I was sad when it was over...u really get attached to the characters

Relaxing listen and story

I turn to regency novels when I need interesting writing and storylines that don’t stress me out. This one didn’t disappoint.

A lovely, endearing story of ladies & their families living in a small village. A great listen. I highly recommend this book.

SLOW reader. Fun story w twists and turns

Listened at 1.5 speed the reader is super slow. Enjoyed the story line. Took surprise story development that I enjoyed. Clean book.

Starting to get preachy

These are good characters. Strong women when women weren’t allowed to control their own lives. But half way through this book got preachy. Reading the Bible attributing everything good to god.

Cozy and Sweet

I am enjoying this series. The characters are delightful. Getting to know all of the backstories is nice. The author did a wonderful job at keeping her readers/listeners wanting to know more. I immediately started listening to this book as soon as I finished the first one. Now I will start with book 3. The narrator does a fantastic job at bringing the story and characters to life.

Lovely story

I did not read the first but am glad I saw this one on sale. I have enjoyed it. It has many lines from Jane Austen ‘s books as well as characters’ name but it is not a alternative ending to any of her books.
I do recommend it to Jane Austen’s admirers because it has a similar focus on women and their homes.

what an amazing unfolding story.

each moving part and character of this book illuminated the beauty of that time and made it such an enjoyable read and I love how it continues from one book into the next looking forward to the next one
